The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society likes to re-invent its early history to hide its embarrasing earlier beliefs and practices .
Any thought of anyone accused of being homosexual / gay is surely going to be deleted from any forthcoming publications they may print.
To keep the illusion we are Gods chosen people that are pure in heart for righteousness .
It always leaves open the question what these bachelors, Chapman, Chitty 1 & 2, Mac Namara, Greenlees etal did for the urge of their hormones, if any. Their public open lives were high power interactions.

In their own way, they are (internally, at least) as ruthless as Scientology when it comes to suppressing information that might call into question their claims of legitimacy.
The irony is that that fact in and of itself calls into question said claims...
...after all, a group that is truly legitimate shouldn't need to resort to illegitimate means to fortify or promote said claims.
Like I keep saying... if you have to cheat to defend your beliefs, your beliefs don't deserve to be defended.
Greenless and the cover up is all mentioned in my book.
