There was a real presence however at Bethel because most of the black brothers were criticized in their local territories for being a part of the "white man's religion. So alot of them woulkd try to mesh the two. Sit and actually exchange ideas etc.

It's interesting that strange patterns and colours are only seen when egg is broken in a glass of water. It's certainly interesting that the demons only show up then and not at other times.

So I followed the WT's, Bible's and elderd' advice to draw close to God through meditation and prayer, to seek solitude and time alone just like Jesus did to meditate, pray and draw close to God, to develop a personal, intimate relationship with God and really get to know God by meditating on his word and his ways AND YET I wasn't communicating with God, I was communicating with spirits who gave me clairvoyant, psychic abilities?
How can someone be following the Bible's advice to draw close to God through meditation and prayer and yet be communicating not with God but demons?
I am doing as the Bible states but yet I am communicating with demons who are giving me clairvoyant and psychic abilities?

Prayer and meditation is not wrong. You're right, it's biblical. What makes me doubt is the fact you became clairvoyant and started channeling through writing, among other things. God doesn't give us those abilities. He can give us ability to heal, cast out demons, but those things you mentioned are not mentioned in the Bible.
When we pray to him, we don't seem those powers, only to do his will.
I've also prayed to Jesus as well. I used to think that was heresy, but Paul did so, and it seems that was the practice of the 1st century Christians.
I don't for a second doubt your account. I don't believe you were merely taking to yourself, and I don't think you just thought you had powers. All I disagree upon is the source of these powers.

Last time I checked, to be clairvoyant/psychic means being able to foresee/predict the future. Isn't that what the so-called prophets in the Bible did? Doesn’t the Bible also contain stories about people having visions about future events?

The most outstanding example of channeling through writing in the Bible was Moses receiving the Ten Commandments written by the fingers of God.

There are accounts in the Bible where persons prayed until they self-induced/voluntarily induced a trance state/altered state of consciousness in which they saw visions and heard voices.
I too had this experience when I would engage in intense, deep, strong prayer and meditation and unknown to myself, self-induced/voluntarily induced a trance/ altered state of consciousness.
I also experienced visions and the auditory sensation of hearing voices - it was like someone was standing right beside me and speaking directly into my ear:
Acts 22:17-21:
“It happened when I returned to Jerusalem and WAS PRAYING at the temple, I FELL INTO A TRANCE AND SAW THE LORD SPEAKING TO ME. ‘Quick!’ he said.‘Leave Jerusalem immediately, because the people here will not accept your testimony about me.’

I still contend that what you saw was real then. I do believe there is more to reality than the material world. I stand by that affirmation, and I believe God exists too.

I haven't found anything which you have stated so far to be offensive. I think we have been having a good discussion.

I don't have an adequate response to your question as regards to the source. You said you also read the WT. I believe they have false doctrine. Through much study, and ironically from one of cofty's posts, I came to the conclusion that JWs treat Jesus wrong. They don't elevate him to the position he deserves. Sure, they pay him lip service, but they aren't allowed to pray directly to him. You will never hear a JW day say they are a slave of Christ.
What I do want to get at, is simply that you didn't merely imagine things. This clairvoyant ability was from an external source, not something your subconscious mind merely produced. Were you ever accurate in your predictions? I think even some accuracy would demolish the claim that these things were just fabrications of an over active, superstitious mind.
I did try to reset, but I have an email I don't use and that I also forgot the password for. I pmed Simon, but never got a response. Either way, I'm not concerned.
I'm relieved I didn't offend you. I like the exchange we are having. I can share more stories of the supernatural if you like.
