North Korea has passed another important landmark today with the successful test of a Hydrogen bomb.

"The US Geological Survey and China’s Earthquake Administration said they had detected a suspected explosion that caused a 6.3-magnitude earthquake."

It would be difficult to exaggerate how significant this development is...

I wonder when the breaking point will be, let this lunatic carry on more tests?

I'm not sure if there are any red lines left.

There is doubt about whether NK have the technology to shield a missile from re-entry on an ICBM. The only way we will know that is when it happens!

Sanctions against countries that do business with NK will hurt US consumers and businesses that do business with such countries - and it won't work. Such strategy is to force the NK regime to collapse or a turning on KJU, but China said that they will not let that happen.

KJU is a smart guy and he probably won't do atmospheric nuclear testing, but if he does, the radiation will spread and could cause cancer to people. Anyway, it will be too late after he does it. Off Topic, the US blew up a mosque in Syria, killing men, women and children, breaking international law.

Great. In a matter of months North Korea will have a nuclear ICMB that can hit the US. And liberals are running around with their hands above their heads screaming that China will somehow fix it, lol.

We all know there is only one way to prevent North Korea having a nuclear ICBM and it does NOT involve sending nice letters to china.

But liberals can't grasp that, and in a few years North Korean troops will pile into South Korea and liberals will again argue we should ask china because at that point they can actually nuke LA...

North Korea has said in public statements that it wants an official end to the Korean War. The conflict was halted by a 1953 armistice but no peace treaty has been signed. It also wants nothing short of full normalization of relations with the U.S. and to be treated with respect and as an equal in the global arena.

It's surprising to see a man on par with Stalin when it comes to the treatment of his own citizens being defended.

Our misunderstood genius can't keep carving out a larger and larger cavern inside Mt. Mamat. It will eventually collapse and things will get really interesting at that point.

DT was asked point blank if he would tolerate a nuclear NK --and guess what?!!! He avoided the question ! Hmmmmm.

If you are referring to KJU, I don't know who is defending him except his neighbors, Russia and China who also happen to be his trade partners sort of speak, and also would like to see less of the US in Seoul. And they have implied that they will not allow the regime to collapse - whatever that means. On the other hand, the regime was collapsing economically even before the help of the sanctions. But who really knows?? Your guess is as good as mine. One thing for sure, if KN missiles start flying over DC, you bet your booty that there is going to be a war, but other than that, anything is possible.

What will happen if the US bombs Russia? You think Russia will send troops or planes? They will send Katyusha (Kuzkinu mat). Same for China except they will send Ma Fa Ying. I don't know if NK can do the same but if they can they will. In other words: "Don't mess with us."

"The president's advisers have made the case, however, that military strikes on North Korea could have serious repercussions, senior defense officials said.

China has also told administration officials that if the U.S. strikes North Korea first, Beijing would back Pyongyang, a senior military official said."

    So there you have it.
