For skateboarding in the KH parking lot in the wee hours of the morning...oh and for having unchristian sybols (skull, freaky monsters, etc) on my board...It even came up as part of the local needs talk that there were some in the congo that might be involved in things that could bring a bad influence to the congo...my friend David and I were sitting by each other and it felt like the whole cong was staring at us. What pissed me off the most was that I was just having fun. Where else would they want me to be? Yes it was really late at night and yes I left streaks from my wheels all over their holy parking lot, but WTF? As I recall I gave several months worth of allowance towards the building of that goddam building....

    Sincerely,

    District Overbeer

ah..........what a shame you and David didn`t skateboard over their JW status symbols parked out-side dueing the meeting..!!!.....oh and Valis, THEY WERE all staring at you Bro....it`s just difficault to tell; them all having two faces!!! ....And where else would they rather you be.?.. ..Tied to the main gates, your shirt striped-off and recieving 100 lashes with the horse-whip....( the only reason they don`t do this is because it would cause half the elders to rush into the Gents toilet to spank the pony).......( see Silence of the Lambs/BBC Panarama TVprogram, if you are new). In England, many elders forbid chidren watching The Simpsons as they are terrified Bart might become a role-model and child start to act like children....sad reality I know, but true....They also don`t like ANY age group walking around the wrong way in their nightmarish dream-world ( Midnight Express/film)..

I got counselled numerous times about my "different" (read fashionable) clothing and hairstyles. The most ridiculous ting I got counselled for, though, was for reading Vogue and Elle fashion magazines (I think some snooping elder saw them at our house). The reasoning?? They thought many of the pictures were "almost pornographic in nature" and the clothing was "designed by homosexuals and people with licentious lifestyles". BTW...I caught one of the elders who was counselling me on this staring at my boobs many, many times...lol

Not having my suit jacket buttoned while giving a talk. I was once on the platform watching an elder in the back row flapping his jacket open and closed to send me a signal...........I thought it possible he could take flight at any moment!

mac, of the you will believe a man can fly class

Hi Mac, yeah I used to get the same all the time...ie...elder`s standing at the back of the hall dueing my talk opening and closeing their jackets or raincoats....But in my case, they were just flashing....! (pervs)

The first time I was six years old and couldn't stay awake during a Service meeting that ran past my bedtime. The PO told me that I was going to die at Armageddon if I didn't pay attention during the meetings.

In my teens I was talking to a young man my age before a meeting. It just so happened that at the previous meeting a single sister had been DF'd for being pregnant. I was pulled aside by the PO and told that if I didn't watch my step I would end up the same way.

Years later a MS told me that "all married women should wear girdles". I was a good dub and didn't say anything, but it was on the tip of my tongue to say, "what's a married man like you doing looking at other women that way?"

I left a couple of years later and never looked back.

Hi confuzcious, welcome to the forum

For using a stamp that had an American Flag on it.
You've got to be kidding me! I'd like to have heard the argument for that one.

    No, not kidding. Really.

I was using (I guess it was a 32 cent stamp at the time), and I got conseled that I shouldn't be using those stamps because it had a flag on them.

At first, I was cracking up, because I thought it was a joke.

So when I realized that it was not a joke, I said, "Do you also not use money because it also has an American Flag on it?"

But the comeback to that was, "Yeah, but with money we don't have a choice, but when it comes to stamps we do."

    Swear.
