That guy seems to have a lot of latent issues. I'm pretty sure he's a closet homosexual and this just makes him look jealous of anyone that has a higher education than he does.

    Edit:

Just to clarify after rereading, I meant this higher education rant makes him look jealous.... That was meant to be separate from the closet homosexual comment.

Notice that the WTS recently encouraged brothers to take a trade in construction .

The hidden agenda here is that these people/men will able to use their construction skills in building new Kingdom Halls or renovations.

    Crooked slime balls . .

"not send anymore from Bethel to college?"

Well, where is the WTS going to get its free, in-house counsel from in the future?  Or, are they going to hire $400/hour attorneys?  This, I got ta see!!!

Their so proud of their new tv studio accomplished by the help of jehovahs hand!.....and...eh...countless college and university educated people that jehovah had to rely on to design the technology and build the thing.

The absolute hypocrisy is scandalous !!!!

That idiot is at it again!

In one of his previous talks I heard, he spoke about University teaching Philosophy I and Philosophy II. Yeah Tony...if students take these courses they may find out that their religion is a crock of s***.

Hey Tony (if you or one of your "boys" is reading this)...keep up the good work. Trust me...people are starting to figure things out on their own. Keep plugging the Internet, it's working GREAT!

    Ok, I will speculate!

They wont "send" them to college but they will turn a blind eye when well connected parents in the Org do it.

I think that is the only change being made.

Or maybe they will send older more mature ones to law school and not kids.

I'd say BroTo figures that the gay guys who invented tight pants went to uni - aka UTP.

So I'm not sure if he thinks it's a gay conspiracy, a tight pants conspiracy, or a higher ed conspiracy.

But, if all three are banned that can only be a good thing.

Do not immerse your self in an institution of learning ( unless operated by WTS )

The WT offers some fine teaching programs specialising in How to become a dick.

I believe that most of the bizarre doctrines have at least some kind of theological origin - blood, neutrality, holidays, stance on homosexuality, etc.

But higher education I think is based, pure and simple, on the calculated belief that very few would continue to follow blindly after the full college experience.  Not only learning how to think critically and ask searching questions, but non-WTS structured exposure to "worldly" people of all stripes and finding out they're not all bad, and realizing that there are many rewarding and challenging paths in life, and it's really cool to be able to choose one.

What other explanation is there for telling generation after generation of JWs you don't need an education because the end is right around the corner?  Even with blood, they have softened a bit as some of the hardcore blood doctrine GB members have died out.
