Well here's an idea. Since the WT has no business collecting benefits from any shares
Donated to them by Mr. McCann then they can set aside a separate account for all proceeds collected from those shares to be deposited in trust to all proven victims of child abuse.
A kinda education fund. College fund per sa'
An exectutor outside the society could be appointed to see that all funds are managed approiately.
Then they could even use the ora around that to demonstrate how God works in mysterious ways.

you know amac, you're right, every person here is screwed up, except you. Like Erieguy said, we are all LIARS and DECEPTIVE. Everyone is lying, everyone is so bitter against the WT, everybody, without any cause, has decided that they will spend their time riding the old "Anti" bandwagon.
The problem is amac, I have no reason to be "so bitter....." I have family members that are Witnesses but I am not, nor have I ever been. I am not shunned by my family, I have never been molested, I am over 21 and free to live any way I choose. And do you really believe that the posters with reason to be bitter would waste their time with intentional lying and exaggerating regarding the WTS. I really don't understand your reasoning, or lack of reasoning. Is it possible, in your mind, for one to want to expose deceit for any reason other than "being bitter?"
The facts speak for themselves, there's no need to embellish on them. If exaggeration doesn't bother you and it is more important to "bring the 'Tower down!!!!", then go right ahead. I'll note it for future reference in case I'm tempted to reply to you again.---amac
You're right, the facts do speak for themselves. Exaggeration does bother me, but you know amac, by looking at the disclosure, I don't see how you can claim that this was an exaggeration intended to "bring the tower down!!!!" If anything would ever "bring the tower down," it would be their actions, not some exaggeration on an Internet forum. Since the statement concerning the WTS owning 50% was such an exaggeration, and like you said, you are "more anal about things called facts," could you clarify just how much stock the WTS actually does own? How about in Reg Tech?

I didn't realize that I "fell back on the old 'well it doesn't matter anyway.' " I thought that I replied that I believed the exact percentage owned to be irrelevant to the fact that it was owned in the first place. I apologize for any misunderstanding.

About 7 yrs ago here in New Orleans there was a big controversy about whether or not bros. employed at various shipyards in and around the city could keep their jobs. You see, many of these shipyards had just recieved contracts to build boats and barges that would one day house casinos and the biggest shipyard in town, Avondale, had just recieved a naval contract to build various vessels for the military. Many of the brothers that would be affected were well established and had worked in the industry for yrs. It was literally what they'd done for most of heir lives. The CO became involved, he wrote the Society for thier 'opinion' on the matter. The decision that came down was that anyone working in these industries had 6 mos to find a new occupation or they would be considered disassociated by their respective congregations. Six months, to totally re-establish yourself and find a whole new way to feed your family, put gas in the car etc.. or risk losing everything from a social and religious standpoint. SIX MONTHS!!!!, After a lifetime of hard work and devotion all they could give u was a six month deadline.
Yet, THEY and their sycophants want you to believe that somehow it's okay for them to profit from the same organizations that they won't allow u to work for to feed your family.

I don't understand why there was a problem. I mean the brothers:
made NO PROFIT FROM THE CONTRACT------------, DIDN'T OWN 50% OF THE COMPANY------------------- the jobs had BEEN GIVEN TO THEM, -------------- they COULDN'T GET RID OF THE JOBS (UNLESS THEY GAVE THEM BACK)---------------they had NO VOTING PROXY ---- "NO SAY SO" IN WHAT THE COMPANY DID--------------WERE NOT AWARE OF MILITARY CONNECTIONS WHEN THEY ACCEPTED THE JOB--------------
so the WTS gave them 6 MONTHS? doesn't seem that the ole WTS thought any of these excuses was a good enough excuse for these brothers to keep their ONLY INCOME. But I'm sure the WTS hasn't known about Regi's DEFENSE CONTRACTS for 6 months yet.....
