Same tired tactics, different person, different day. First we had the AAWA president threaten the JWN site owner privately with exposing information that he viewed as damaging both to the integrity of the site and the owner personally. A cherry was offered when he promised to keep quiet in exchange for complete lockdown of the offending AAWA threads. When that didn't work, he started giving hints in the threads of a similar security breach at JWN. Then not too long ago, Marvin brought up a user he called 'Friend', and heavily implied that the situation surrounding this user was embarrassing to JWN. Now this frantic piece which makes little, if any sense. Using the same logic, she can blame JWN for putting her into contact with AAWA through the introductory thread and being outed as a result on FB.

I hate to say it folks, but as long as you have an IP address, you can be tracked. My cellphone even has it's own IP. I'm not a computer wiz, but I do know how some things work.

Every computer/device that connects to the internet can be tracked by using your IP address....I'm not sure how hacks go about it, but they can figure out where you live. And if WTBT$ has info on all of us in Brooklyn all they have to do is some digging and figure out where you live.

I interpreted an internet security class last semester and it scared the crap out of me! Nothing we do on the intenet is safe, it's doesn't take much for someone to hack anything.

I know you're not worried about it, but lemme give you a little peace of mind.

Go to this website: http://www.ipchicken.com/

It'll tell you your IP address.

Then go to this website and pop it in the search bar: http://www.wolframalpha.com/

It'll tell you where your IP address points. That's as close as the webmaster can trace you. It probably just points to a nearby city. Individual users won't even be able to get that information.
