Oh yes. Whales evolved from squirrels and monkeys who then jumped into the ocean for some unknown reason and then developed into whales. And by the way your uncle is a monkey, literally.

no, and to be perfectly honest, you need to learn a thing or two about science before you try to criticize it. that's NOT what evolution dictates, that's not what science says at all.

also, you should learn a thing or two about logical fallacies. it'd REALLY help you out bc that statement you made was beyond stupid and shows how little you know about biological sciences which is to be expected from anyone who thinks the watchtower is as factual as it gets while ignoring that the watchtower's own lawyer has admitted that the organization has pushed false prophecies and that it was more important to keep you sheep in line and marching on the wrong path, than it was for anyone to have an independent thought and correct the mistake

    stay alive to '75!

    maybe they meant 2075?

what exactly are you going to do when 2014 rolls around and it'll have been a 100 years since christ supposedly arrived to bring this all down? i thought that generation wasn't going to die...

I guess he punched out for the day as he made his wt$ daily service time quota. Because Jesus wanted his disciples to go to apostate websites to count time instead of actually really helping people in a tangible and practical way. That is new light for ya </sarcasm>

Jehovah did not lie about anything. If there were any misnomers, it was mans error, not his.

Really? What a poor answer. Does Jehovah completely trust the Slave or not? Does he use them or not? You cannot have it both ways.

"Since Jehovah God and Jesus Christ completely trust the faithful and discreet slave, should we not do the same?" Watchtower 2009 Feb 15 p.27

"[A mature christian] does not advocate or insist on personal opinions or harbor private ideas when it comes to Bible understanding. Rather, he has complete confidence in the truth as it is revealed by Jehovah God through his Son, Jesus Christ, and "the faithful and discreet slave." Watchtower 2001 Aug 1 p.14

I would really love to hear a lurkers perspective on this exchange. I mean shouldn't "the truth" be able to stand up to a simple question "like where is the throne?"

I found this interesting about Revelation 14:2,3

In the book Insight on the Scriptures(WTB&TS 1988) page 996 under the subheading popular views,

"Obviously, then, although Revelation 14:3 says that the 144,000 have been "brought from the earth" the context depicts them as being, not on earth, but in heaven with the heavenly Lamb, Christ Jesus."

This is to defeat the argument that the 144,000 are "members of the Christian congregation while on earth whereas the "great crowd" are the resurrected Christians in heaven.

In the book Revelation Its Grand Climax At Hand!(WTB&TS 1988) page 201 paragraph 10,

"How can the 144,000 sing "before" the elders, since the 24 elders are the 144,000 in their glorious heavenly positions? ... The remnant of the 144,000 still on earth are therefore singing the new song before, or in the sight of, their resurrected brothers in heaven."

The Revelation Its Grand Climax At Hand! is talking of the same scripture Revelation 14:2,3.

reading Recovery's constant obsession with jwfacts.com I have a clear feeling that he/she(Reniaa/Spade/Alice) is not enjoying the best mental health. One has to laugh when Recovery is using "The Harp of God" to refute WT lies and dishonesty.

I recall sitting through those long book study evenings studying " The Revelation Its Grand Climax At Hand!" as a young teenager, and just scratching my head wondering if I just wasn't smart enough to comprehend the connections of each verse to specific events post 1914. Now it's many suppositions and lies are quite plain to see unless you are a blind follower.

reading Recovery's constant obsession with jwfacts.com I have a clear feeling that he/she(Reniaa/Spade/Alice) is not enjoying the best mental health.

I know what's with the out of left personal attacks? Completely unacceptable.
