The rule of thumb is that the speaker is always at least AS smartly dressed if not MORE smartly dressed than his audience.

Hm, maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part that the guy might be a little more relaxed than his predecessors.
I've never really understood the "traditional dress" rule (if there is such a thing). The whole concept seems to fly in the face of JW uniformity.

Could be more "traditional" for the area he is serving.
Makes you wonder why they don't allow khakis and polos in America though, its just plain freakish to have a couple dudes show up on your porch in their suits.
