as an ex-interpreter I find that disgusting. I can't imagine little kids pulling on daddy's sleeve and asking what they are talking about. and daddy has to sit and explain it to him. or hush him up with a "later later".
Now this is the scenraio I see. You are int he cong where there is just a deaf group who sit on the side or near the back of the hall. The interpreter has to do his part and signs this using the gestures. meanwhile the other hearing part of the cong watches the interpreter signing this.
At least I never had to translate one of these parts and when these talks were given an elder (either my husband or another elder) spelled the word out instead of signing it. That would just be considered too graphic for the hall.
The video is sickening. It reflects the sickening mindset of its creator. Typical of the Watchtower selective scripture practices, many of the cited verses are there only to serve the selfish interests of the Watchtower. Sex is an area non of their business. Instead, they should focus on their debased practices of hiding pedos in their midsts. The video targets deaf community but they are under estimating the mindset of this oppressed group.
