    Nothing wrong with having secrets, but no need to abuse other people.

    Apostate:

    True Christianity frees people and some have a problem with that.

    mP->Apostate:

    Says who ?

    You might want to check out the past 2000 years where xianity has gone around killing or enslaving everyone. The indians of the new world would cry if they heard you say xianity frees. The xian europeans did everything but free them. The same goes for all Africa, asia and the pacific. There is no freedom in xianity, take a look at the terms associated with worship, servants of god.

    Apostate ->

    The WT is damaging to people and societies on many different levels. If they practice occultism that would be the ultimate insult to their followers that can not even have a Sparlock.

    mP -> Apostate:

    I dont like WTS but compared to the RC, CofE its benign. They are all evil though, its just the WTS never had the same opportunities or power that other churches had in the past. Again look at the history of Europe and European colonisation. All of Europe was xianised under a sword.

    What freedom does xianity bring anyway ? Can you show me why i need to be freed ? We are all individuals responsible for our own actions. Im do many wrong things but im not a murder, and im not responsible for the actions of Adam and Eve. thats just cruel to blame me and everyone else for what they did. Anwyay that whole concept is not in the OT, xianity just made that story up about jesus dying because of Adam. tahts utter bullshit.

    Mp, none of us are truly free, that’s the reality of it. Now, do you prefer not being free in the Christian part of the world, or in the non Christian part of the world?

    I love threads like these, they let me know who the crazy people are.

    I find atheism very freeing - to come to believe that there is no invisible man in the sky watching my every move and judging me, noting down things that I will have to 'render an account for' on the day of judgement leaves me free to live accoridng to my own created ethics and principles.

    I also find it empowering to give up any notion of a heavenly or an earthly afterlife. This is it, this is my time to live my life, to experience the wonder of the universe, and to contribute what I feel moved to give to the people in my life and the communities I'm a part of, knowing that my time is limited.

    The early JWs were right, religion IS a snare and a racket - sadly they didn't apply that thinking to their own organisation and free themselves!

    mP, is that the best answer you could come up with for the reasons for occult knowledge? I have to say, I am disppointed in your answer, coming from a self-proclaimed conspiracy researcher.

    How about the most obvious reason: power. By promising initiates and adepts secret knowledge that he/she can only attain through a endless stream of study and initiations, you create and instant power structure. This seems to me to be the most obvious and malevolent reason and purpose for the occult. Don't believe me? Talk to former 33rd degree Freemasons, witches, and other occult practitioners. Ask them how the carrot was dangled in front of them for all those years.

    Freemasonry and the mystery schools have no mystery about them. The perceived mystery about them is created in order to lure people, and it is very effective, because humans are naturally drawn to seemingly mysterious things.

    For those interested, who have the time, this is well researched, well thought out, well presented and well worth a look.

    Firstly we dont live in a xian world, most western countries are very much secular. Our freedoms havenothing to do with xianity, thats a false assumption. Slavery didnt occur because of xianity. Xianity has done little to guide and shape the moral compass of our home lands. We can study other big changes but slavery is pretty cut and dry. The churches in England for example did nothing to help and actively were against the anti slavery movement.

    All im advocating ishonest. YOu last challenge is unfair, and use education instead of religion and have a much more accurate and true statement.

    Lets not forget that terrible places like the middle east, are that way because of their culture which is heavily influenced by Islam. lets not forget that Islam is just an arabic form of ancient Judaism. They share many common laws and ideas, i dont think i need to remind you of their treatment of women for starters. What did evolve is not the religion but our communities standards. If you believe in the Bible and want to see what happens when you follow the Bible, its laws and ideas look at the Taliban or Saudi Arabia. When you realise that their ideas a re very much cmopatible with the Bible you then can only come to the sensible conclusion that the Bible is garbage and so is xianity.

    All the great progress we have the west is because the strenght and power of religion has been deteriating. Religion is not a blessing its a curse.

    I have never claimed to be a researcher of anything. Its amazing how many personal assessments you love to make rather than actually addressing the content of the message. I guess thats due to your in ability to read or the fact you like to simply twist and lie when the facts are incompatible with your thoughts.

    Theres a freemason hall literally 2 blocks from my house, guess what its empty and has been for a long time. I guess people just dont care for that club anymore, and have gone ahead and invented other forms of socialising and doing business.

    I also have knews for you theres no such thing as witches. They cant fly, they dont have green skin or anything. Tahts all utter bullshit to supprress women.

    Secret clubs and associations have always existed. Ambitious people have always schemed and planned to do stuff. Everybody plans stuff, its just some people are more important and have the power to make a difference. Only a fool would care about the silly rituals they perform.
