The mental calusthenics required to allay the CD is intertwined and matted into almost every line. The arguments are never refuted . . . only avoided or rejected. There's a big difference between the two . . . one provides for reasoned discussion and advancement of understanding, the other provides nothing beyond frustration and entrenchment.

The problem is the educational system. The scientists want to be able to get around a table and have a no holds no bounds conversation about the existence of the universe. However who is truly qualified to do that is the conundrum. Consider Jesus words when he says blessed are the meek for they will inherit the earth. What he is saying is that the uneducated are the ones that should have the say. They are always the ones that know what's up because they are the ones that are forgotten. Jesus words about the meek is about the preponderance of the small. It was an early form of democratic thinking because the free world now does hinge itself on the single voter. That's what created this whole fiasco in the first place. We became aware of ethics and morals. We didn't evolve them from scratch, we started "seeing" them, but only after it was too late. Now we have to clean up our mess and science wants to be the answer to that problem. For the most part they are a success, but they do not have any control over the means at which their science is imparted upon the populace. With creation comes the new awareness of ethics we could only barely concieve before a certain technology came about. So if you don't have a solid set of ethics in society and it's own methodologies you have to take the bad with the good. That's what righteousness is all about. It asserts that there is a right way to do everything on the sentient level and works from there. If one chooses to walk in righteousness one chooses to walk with God because God is good.

This is not a weasely way to go about approaching a debate about life, sizemik. The problem with the scientific community is that is pushes out the meek which are the unlearned. This does not mean the stupid people, but the people who are cast from society because of it's internal divisions, not because of a lack of ability.

So when the internet came along we have found out that information needs to be readily available to the public. Otherwise the handy dandy science turns into horrors for others. Take hypnosis for example. Many people have been abused with this science, but then again the school of sciences that are used are completely necessary. So you have to do something about the abusers of free will. This is exactly what Genesis 1-3 is screaming at everybody: THERE IS AN ENEMY, GET THEM! It's up to us to examine our environment and determine who that enemy is, God merely tells us that he exists. To believe in God is also to believe in the source of evil because you cannot have righteousness without it's ghastly counterpart.

I don't think scientists are concerning themselves with Jesus's words when they sit around tables discussing the universe. If someone understands and can use the scientific method, then they are not 'unlearned'. If they are unable to do these things, then they can't take an active role in science----because it is about the scientific method. However they are free to contemplate the universe all they like and share their ideas.

You know what I think is another shame? When the unlearned can't practice medicine! I mean think about all the ideas they can come up with, but no one will let them practice to try them out. There is some cashier somewhere that could probably treat brain tumors, but the prejudice against the uneducated runs deep. They won't let him/her have a scalpal.

Exactly my point. They have already concluded him to be not what the Bible says he was. You have already established your methodology for who gets to officially declare Jesus hooey. Then you want to continue to use the word "theory" (which starts with θεος which means god) in your society while ignoring what the word really means. It's pretty hypocritical, but as long as all the evidence is gone then I guess we should just give up then eh?
