How many hours are falsely reported?

I know the goal was to average at least 10 hours a month at my old hall. Once a publisher that was lucky to get 2 hours a month was told by an elder that he was bringing the entire congregation down. At that time he told me he would just write down 10 a month to keep the elder off his back.

    I am shocked!

True Christains would never lie about their service to God. No wonder every one here is appostate. I am sure all the other loyal dubs would never do such a thing.

I was once a the secretaries house at the start of a new month and he was calling the pubs who didn't turn in their time. There was one sister that he had to call every month. Before he called he filled out the slip for her with all the details and told me this is what it will be. Sure enough that was exactly what she reported, the same thing every month. LOL

There is no doubt in my mind the numbers reported by the WTBTS are so over-inflated that to even consider believing them would be preposterous.

When I was a semi-loyal Dub, I would get 2 hours or NO time for the whole month, and write down 15-20, mere numbers on a slip, to have my monthly average high and be viewed as "spiritual" by the flock.

When I was about 15, and realized how highly respected pioneers were, I volunteered to auxiliary pioneer. Did I get the prerequisite 60 hours? Of course not. I simply claimed I preached at school and wrote down 65+ hours, when in reality I MAYBE spent an hour the whole month talking to someone.

I know Im not the ONLY one.

The true Kingdom of God is located in your heart, not an organization of hypocrites.

    Jukie,

: ...who was a pioneer and the darling of the congregation because he placed so many magazines--several hundred a month! Well, guess how he placed them? Threw them directly into the dumpster, didn't even make a pretense of distributing them at beauty parlors or laundromats. And then he watched porn when he was supposed to be out on his magazine route and she was at work all day, supporting his "pioneer" habit.

I didn't know you and Alan knew Kent that well!

There was a time where the building committee neede volunteeres to go and scout out new locations of future kingdom halls. Well I was part of the crew.

Our instructions included that any time spent by us driving around looking for these sites could be and should be counted as time on service.

So lets see: About 3 hours a day times 4 of us hanging out in the car a driving around looking at chicks ,I mean empty building sites, times 2 or 3 times a week for about 7 months= about 1008 hous worth of "Preaching the good news".

So you figure if the majority of the hours spent on service is phony or not.

I'll poke my nose in here and say I hope the hours ARE over-inflated.
Just take a look at those millions of hours spent by millions of mis guided people on the report. Look at the figures. Look at the wasted hours which could have been used to make the world a better place. These figures would never be acceptable on a spread sheet in any company in terms of profit and loss. It almost makes me sick. And I pioneered. How do you think I feel about my own wasted life.

I started counting my time a soon as I knew that going out was going to be the foolish, and dreadful reality it was for that day, and stopped when my tires touched my driveway. None of this "waiting till you get to the 1st door" baloney. Afterall time is money.... How's that for inflated accuracy.

    most of them.

i counted from the minute i close the k.h. door till i walked in my house.

and included coffee breaks and breakfast near the end.

and if i didnt go out, i put a number in and forgot it.

and i didnt even bother to fill reports out at the end. might have been six months or more i never turned time in for. not to sure.

i also turn them in quaterly. made them chase me for it.

I could be wrong about this but lately I've been thinking that the reason the WTBS is so insistent on every JW being involved in the preaching work is so that they can force a prophecy into fulfilment.

You are exactly right! Have you ever noticed how they take Matt. 28:19 and 20 and call it a prophecy being fulfilled today by Jehovah's Witnesses at one moment and then call it a commission the next when they are trying to compel everyone to be involved in the preaching work! Which is it! Well, whatever it is, I'm sure Jesus didn't have in mind the false gospel being carried out by JWs today.
