If you are a devoted follower, no doubt you have heard the ditty "Obama the Magic Negro" on his show.
The phrase which came from a liberal article in a liberal newspaper:

And yes, the "magical negro" meme helped get Obama into office, so Rush's ditty was a sharp piece of political satire. Blame Spike Lee for making up the term, not Rush. In movies, that's the black guy that always shows up to get whitey out of trouble and make him feel less guilty for having treated black people like shit.
