Buy a hand held video game system (nintendo DS). It will help your recovery as next to, painkillers, it is the best pain distraction.

Not to take away from your situation, but would that kind of surgery help a man who snores?

Take care of yourself and stay nicely medicated. Last time I had surgery I couldn't take any pain meds during the day cause I didn't want to pass out on the kids. Not fun. If you have the chance to sleep away the pain, DO IT.
