My visit with my doctor turned out to be a nightmare of red tape that may take days or weeks to sort out. I lost another four pounds, believe me: I can afford it. I think tha'ts 41 all together, since Mickey has been with me. It's been that heartbreaking and stressful. He also said my heartbeat was irregular and did a an ekg, which was normal. So it was the anxiety causing it.
As for Pay Pal, I have been reluctant to say anything because I would be heartbroken if anyone thought I started this thread for that reason. Any help right now would be appreciated and much needed. This is the most frightening thing I have had to go through, with no family near by to help, even if they were close, there's very little almost any of them would do. Two of my siblings are staunch JW's. I had set up an account when the little one's dad used to send help. I don't know how the administrater feels about the paypal idea. If you want to help, you can PM me. Unless someone wants to coordinate something or has a better idea. I am in a panic right now and the kids are due home in a few minutes. I've got to try to calm myself down before they walk in.
Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated and badly needed. Thank all of you.
Flyin'...sweetie...
I just saw this and am so sorry this turn of events has visited you and your family. I am so glad your church has been so much of a help for you. There seems to be a constant string of surprises (to me) of the fine charitable works that many churches give freely to people in need, even regardless of membership, at times.
I don't know exactly what to say, except that you are well liked here, because of your consistent kindness to others. You've already had tough life & health situations to deal with, so, I can understand how you may feel overwhelmed right now. I can only suggest what others have said and to try and weather this thunderstorm as best as you can. Take cover and care of yourself, so you can be the 'mover and shaker' you'll have to become to match this new situation.
I have faith in your strength of character.
Your friend, Rabbit
I feel a little better. All of your kind, warm words and PMs are part of it.
I spoke with Andy, who was so relieved to be home with his parents, and able to sit in the backyard and enjoy nature, fresh air, the grass, sunshine and all. He sounded optimistic, though not himself. We are going to see him at 7.
Mickey's KG class celebrated his June 25th 6th Birthday today, since school will be out. He is proudly wearing his construction paper crown, complete with glitter and glue lettered Happy Birthday Mickey. Julian is cleaning out my car for me. He volunteered to do it. He's been taking out the trash and cleaned the bathroom on Saturday.
And me, I actually ate a cracker and put on some music. I heard the song It's Gonna Take Some Time on the way from work last night. The one by the Carpenters. The words just hit home. So I am listening to it again. I like the lyric, "But like the young trees in the winter time, I'll learn how to bend." Life has knocked me down many times, but somehow I have always gotten back up again. It's just "going to take some time this time." I am swinging from panic, to despair to calm and sometimes hope. Just so you know, that's normal for me when under stress.

Hearing this bit of news broke my heart. You've been around here a long time, I have faith in your character and I enjoy you as a person on this board. I know giving isn't something for everyone can do (esp newbies), but I hope those who have known you will consider dropping you a small bit of help via paypal. Giving someone hope is a good cause.

My heart is going out to you and your family. I am sad that you all are having such a rough patch. I hope all is resolved well for you, Andy and your little boys. You are a beautiful family.

I was going to write this as a PM but I changed my mind and decided to put it out there for everyone to see:
FHN----PLEASE do not worry about "sounding down" right now.....you have every right to be down at the moment! It's not as if you have spent years of "woe is me" posts and feeling sorry for yourself! My goodness dear....if THIS isn't a time needed to lick your wounds and regroup your thoughts---when WOULD it BE???
We all think so much of you and are HERE for support and hugs and whatever can be HAD to make you feel somewhat better! We love you.
hugs,
Annie
So sorry to hear about all you're going through FHN.
(((((((( FHN )))))))))
PLEASE try to take care of yourself through all this. If you want to be there for your family, you've got to carve out enough for yourself to stay healthy.
Wish I could do more. I'm thinking positive thoughts for you.
Open Mind
Dear Flying High Now, Ive been away for a few weeks only to return to read this very sad post from you.
All of us here are so very sorry your family is going through this trial. Even though you insist you are challenged, I only know you from this board as a very strong woman. Just calm down. There is a God in Heaven and he sees your plight and he cares. It takes a bit of time sometimes to organize help and send some relief. There are many avenues of help as the posters here have said.
Please get some rest. And keep us posted on any progress you can relate.
Love,
Anewme
