Thank you, Hubert, Kate and Craig, NVGNBK. I received your mail today. Kate, I look forward to listening to the CD.
For all of you who are helping out. I am beginning to be able to pay July's bills, now. I am going back to work for three days a week starting, not this weekend but the following weekend. My doctor wants me to ease back into work for the at least the first two weeks.
Life is very hard right now due to the sad course of events, but with the help you are giving me us in kind words, love, prayers and the like and gifts, it is making the difference between keeping our heads above water or not.
Still no news about Julian, which hopefully is a good thing. I am exploring every option for which is the best way to go, on how to keep him with me. He's been busy all day riding his bicycle and playing with friends. I think the busier he stays, the better.

Good Girl or Bad Girl?
FHN, I'm just in shock about all of these events. Everyone has had such nice things to say. I want you to know I'm still around and thinking of you...
Love,

Thank you, GGBG. Thank you, Emo. Your card & gift arrived today. All the way from England. That's kind of neat.
Last night was bargain night at the drive-in movie theater. It's a drive, so we usually only go once or so a summer. I took Julian, even though I wasn't feeling well. I pushed myself for his sake. We watched Evan Almighty. He really had a good time.It was worth it to see him smile and laugh and enjoy himself. We didn't stay for the second movie. I'm just too old for those all nighters. In Michigan it isn't getting dark until 10PM. So you can imagine how late you'd be if you saw both movies in the double feature. On the way home, he opened the window and looked out at the stars. He saw a shooting star. He also found a triangle of stars he felt very drawn to. He asked me why he was so drawn to them. I told him maybe his guardian angel was watching from there. You never know. He really needs his guardian angel right about now.
Next week, while Julian is gone to camp, I am planning to go job hunting. I would like to find one with better hours than the current job. Wish me luck, pray, etc. Please keep praying for me to feel some relief from the anxiety. I started taking something in addition to what I am already taking. One problem is that it is making me so sleepy. Hopefully that will pass after a week or two.

Good Girl or Bad Girl?
Good luck on your job search. That was a sweet story about Julian and the drive-in. I hope you enjoyed yourself too, even though you had to push yourself to make it.

Each day I am feeling a little better since I started taking zoloft and Biker Chick/Kate's CD helped me a lot last night. Thank you everyone. I am about to go take Julian to the bus for camp. The church is taking the poor kids on the bus so the parents don't have to spend the gas money to go to Newaygo. It's such a pretty drive out to the country, but a looooooong one. We all have mixed emotions about him being gone for a week. But mostly good ones. He is on the phone with his mother right now, my daughter.
Thanks again everyone. Keep praying for us, etc. please.

Thank you, Philip, Carrie loves Julian and Mickey both so much. She isn't in any position to care for either of them at this time. She is heartbroken, like the rest of us, over Mickey. Since she lives in RI, we are hoping she can get to visit Mickey. She is going to see a friend of hers, who will be coming to visit family in Michigan this next week. She will be coming thruogh to see Julian and me. I hope she can help me make some decisions when she comes. Hopefully the zoloft will be helping even more by the time we see Carrie.

I have great news! The CPS caseworker paid a surprise visit this morning. She says she is going to close Julian's case. She said that her interview with Julian was the biggest factor in her decision. She did look around the house, which is more cluttered than usual, due to me getting used to the zoloft. She was very understanding. She asked to look in my freezer and fridge and it was well stocked, thanks to all of you who've helped and especially Bebu and the Angel Food Ministry. I have to mail her a copy of the power of attorney and that's about it. That is one huge weight off Andy and me. I know Julian will feel a lot better to when he gets the news. I am mailing him a letter today to tell him.
Now, I just need to find another or an additional job, so I can try to stay in this apartment. Andy is applying for SSI this Friday. We understand that there is so much abuse in the system that it can take up to three years to get an appeal if you're turned down. Please everyone pray that he isn't turned down . Fortunately there is a social worker who is going to go over the whole process and application with him on Thursday, because she feels he needs SSI disability, as do his doctors. She doesn't want him to be turned down.
I actually jumped up and down with joy. Me, overweight and 48 years old, jumping up and down: now that's a sight. We still are in grief over Mickey. But the zoloft is starting to work. I asked for it because it works much faster for me.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your continuing encouragment, love, prayers, good thoughts, vibes, gifts and well wishes. You have no idea how much you have helped and are helping. Thanks to your generosity we did not have to put in a 30 day notice on the apartment this month. If I had had to worry about money more than I have, I'd have been in the looney bin for sure, with all the other sad things that piled up on me. It's not all reconciled yet, but it's at least good news in the right direction.

Hey hon, that's great news about Julian! But then what about getting Mickey back? Any chance of that happening right now?
