If there is renewed movement in the 'shunning' relatives who are not active or who are DF'd or DA'd, this would seem to make even more sense. Because those ones might be interested in exposing the WT to more scrutiny, and having easy access to the magazines of zealous WT'ites would enable it. If they further isolate the JWs from the disenchanted ones, then they think they will be protecting their sheep/keeping it out of the hands of the evil ones (us). Do you think they know there are so many IN active 'service' to the WT that will still be happy to expose them? Do you think they may come up with some electronic or other device to see where the 'leaks' are coming from? I wonder if those who scan info and 'release' it might be more careful if they think that they might be the dupe of a 'double agent'. I could see some major paranoia from all directions here.
