You are going to deserve what you get one day, but it is still going to be sad to watch.
My friend, what is it that we are going to get that we deserve so much? What have deserves got to do with it anyway? It occurs to me of late that when we call down what others deserve on them then surely we are doing the same to ouselves....

You may be able to think (I'll take that under advisement) but your reading comprehension sux. I never once suggested that Bush should be hung, even though he is obviously duplicitious. In fact if you bother your ass to read what I've written on the subject you'll see that I've come to question capital punishment.
As for picking on my typo and thinking it was a grammatical error, I'll leave that one for the folly it is... but something for you to consider is that damned isn't spelt with a double "m". Since you're evidently in the business of stereotyping (Iraqis, etc.), perhaps I might counter that most everyone I've encountered who has some effigy of the armed forces as an avatar seems incapable of seeing past governmental propaganda and arguing rationally on the subject of foreign policy. Please prove to me that you can rise above that and show an ability to see the various sides of a debate.

How about the civilians killed in Germany and Japan? Should Roosevelt and or Truman be blamed for all those deaths?

Arabs are human too no? and so are Iraquis. ALL such like that go to the US prosper. The problem is not the people but goverment and religion. Of all iraquis were allowed to immigrate to a westerm country, they would all adapt to the west and love it.
Ofcourse they would love the west - but they don't adapt. I see lots of Turkey's and Morroccan people here - and lots of them are hanging on their own culture . They are wearing their regional clothes, eating their (home-land) food - building their mosques here. And while there are decent good-willing Moslims, their religion allowes them to deceive and swindle all who is not of the same faith. We are swines and/or dogs, our women are called whores by groups of yelling youngsters (most 2nd generation).

The point I was trying to make is that many (if not close to all) liberals are FAR from liberal. After all, as a conservative, I do not care what anyone else does as long as it does not infringe on my rights. Liberals seem to want to have theirs noses in everyones business all the time. They also like to make fun of the down to earth types, calling them "hillbillys" and such. And these are the same people that are putting food on THEIR tables. They just seem to know how the world should be run. But when given power, they can't seem to do it. - And I'm speaking of the almost 40 years the dems had control of congress, before Clinton and Billery scared the country straight.

Little Toe-Well met, there are plentiful examples of deceitful politicians. Kings to you. However, I'd like to think at the end of the day, a typical politician cannot sleep well at night because of all the lies he has told. Iraqis are different. They think nothing of it. I may have mentioned it before, an Iraqi will lie because they think it is the right thing to do. (Just like the governing body.) There is no remorse. They feel that the IED emplacer is doing a service to Mohammed (killing not just American GI's, but his fellow countrymen.) I still cannot get over this.
Hillary-Yes, I was uniformed. But I hesitate to think that it had anything to do with getting truthful information.
There was a situation in late 2003, where an Iraqi came to US forces stating: "I SWEAR TO ALLAH that there are weapons of mass destruction buried under this field." An engineer battalion, with bulldozers and the whole nine yards went out to investigate tearing up some farmland. Nothing was found. Two weeks later, the landowner comes to US forces and says, "Hey, uh...why did you guys tear up my farm?" Evidently, the informant had an axe to grind.
I could go on forever...

I know what you mean. It seems to me that just everyone I have met on this board that is from England or Scotland, is rather - shall we say - light on his feet. I really try not to prejudge, but you do not seem to be an exception to this. BTW, does the photo of my big bad "assault rifle" scare you?
