I had been the victim in a few automobile accidents and had started feeling like I had a target on my car. I had even gotten a bit phobic about driving.

    Poor target!

I just want to say you're not alone - I used to work with someone who felt like that too, people seemed to 'like' throwing themselves off bridges in front of/onto her car - three at the last count...

When I foolishly decided to sign up for dates on Match.com I needed a current photo and had none at all.

I only had access to my son's digital camera of dubious quality.

I stepped in front of the mirror inside our darkened living area and snapped the photo. (That arm that goes out of frame is holding the camera and the image is really the mirror image of me.)

I didn't wear a shirt because I wished to demonstrate that, even though I am ancient, I am not fat and deteriorated.

I figured since I have no money or wordly goods to entice the ladies I might just use what is left of me instead.

Match.com turned out to be a lousy idea. I blame my photo!

    So there!

    Nickname: That's pretty self-explanitory.

Avatar: That would be one of two logos for the 11-time "mythical" national champions in NCAA (American) football, The University of Southern California Trojans.

    Thanks for listening.

My picture is of a scuba yacht, Deep Blue, that I am a partner with two Ecuadorian friends, that operates out of San Cristobal, Galapagos Islands.

OH OH OH DO APOSTATES GET A DISCOUNT! I'd go to an apostafest on that bad boy right f*cking NOW!!!!!!!!!

I have a craft workshop selling goods i make by sewing pubic hair with an old pedal style sewing machine
Ok this is a joke right? Please please please say yes!
Because my two year old daughter has taken to chasing the cats around the house going "OOOOOH, KITTY!" and then taking them for walks by their tails. Just my little tribute to how she rules our house with an iron fist... from Daddy on down to the pets.
You need to get mandy from billy and many then! mkr is my initials (well almost it's actually the first and last letter of my first name and the first letter fo my last name!) My actual initials are mar which is the first three letters of my name... How tedius.... So I've always used mkr as my initials instead! Then 32208 is my zip code! I use that Id on all my login's (well most anyway) The pic of bender is well a pic of bender! I kind of like it because it's a reversal! He's in a drunken stupor because he's NOT drinking! Kind of like for years I wasn't a student because I was being told I was a student! I dunnno I just like it!

Lonely was how I felt as a jw student. Sheep, obvious religious term.

Avatar-I wanted a mermaid pic and found one that is all me. One day, whenever the orthodontist deems time for the braces to come off, I will put my picture back up.

    Good Girl or Bad Girl?

When I signed up I couldn't think of a good user name. Good Girl or Bad Girl? shows how utterly confused I felt when I signed up. I was so tired of my family and the congregation treating me like all I did was misbehave when my "worldly" friends thought I was so sweet and naive (which also kind of sucks a little, but it's all good. I've set them straight as we've gotten closer. Haha).

My avatar shows how I feel as a part of the JW religion. Like a naughty little girl who keeps having to go sit in the corner (or the back of the hall and not speak to anyone, as it were).

The wings represent what I am doing about it now, escaping with the small amount of sanity I have left and becoming the person I am meant to be.

Some people PM me and are worried that I still feel like this sad little person. Overall I am quite happy. But this sad butterfly girl is a representation of a part of my life. So I think I'll keep her. (might even get a tattoo of her)

    Just a Girl, really.

My user name might seem a bit strange, so it needs explaining.

I was born in South Africa of British parents.

I wasn't too well so my parents returned to England when I was 1. When growing up if South Africa were doing well at sport I would profess to being South African and if England were doing well I of course would say I was English.

This carried on to married life and when I used to play with my children - if we did things like arm wrestles and I won I would point to my muscles and exclaim 'South African Beef'!

My Avatar is of the Statue of Liberty (no, is it?!) my wife (version two - much improved!) and I went to New York for our anniversary in February and loved every single minute of it. The Statue of Liberty reminds us both of how free we are now we are both no longer members of the WBTS. Also it brings back memories of flying around the Statue of Liberty in a helicopter.

    Hope that clears everything up.
