  my mother called last night to tell me that the oldest daughter of one of my best childhood friends had died of a brain tumor.

  i remember when robin was pregnant with stephanie 25 years ago.

  i grew up with robin and her 2 sisters lisa and julie.

  Why are honest questions considered apostasy?

  this is why as i was growing up (raised in "the truth") i never asked questions.

  i never understood the birthday issue among other holidays.

  i never asked because i was scared i would be looked at as an apostate or as someone being worn down by the wicked association.

  Told my nonJW brother-in-law I'm done with the JW thing

  i am slowly ramping up the wheels of apostacy and have begun telling a few people to help brace the fallout of me telling my wife.

  i have many relatives that aren't jws - both on my side and on my wife's side.

  i've already told my dad (who was never a jw - to which i am eternally grateful), and some nonjw business people that i am also friends with.. my wife's brother was never a jw.

  Would you go to a funeral at the Kingdom Hall?

  so my brother and i have been having talks about what will happen when our dad passes away eventually.

  most of his brothers and sisters have died in their 50's or early 60's.

  i flat out refuse to attend any part of the service that would be done at the kingdom hall.

  The last 2 funerals I went to in the KH were mopre like infomercials for the WT...(whatever turns them on)...I'd love to go to a JW funeral if the pyre was the Kingdom Hall...burn, baby burn...

  i need help making one of the most important decisions of my life, i was brought up a witness and fell away nearly 9 years ago.

  i firmly believe what i was taught and still believe in the truth.

  theres just a few questions i would like asking but never have the opportunity to ask anyone.

  Sword of Jah...sounds more like a groveling JW appologist to me...should called be the wet leaf of the WT,...oooh, come near and he/she wil bite your knees... The WT lion roars, but we see it's a toothless, flea bitten old bag of #### ... However Mr. rubber sword continues to defend... What a laugh...

  jws claim to be led by god.

  he is directing their organisation by his spirit.. they believe that smoking is wrong, in fact a disfellowshipping offense.

  so why did god not tell them that smoking was wrong?.

  Yeah...maybe the JW's would do better if the governing body was made up of Johnney Walker, Jack Daniels and of course Old Granddad...can you think of any more qualified members...?
