Minimus, You have a point. Certainly I consider myself a fool as I was impressed by the cult at 28 and got Baptized at 30. I also dragged my wife into it, who is still in the cult.
Those who were born in, yes, I consider them as innocent victims, who never (knew) had an option and most probably got baptized at a tender age

During the late 1990’s our home in India hosted the weekly Book Studies. We were living in the 2nd floor and had let the 1st floor for rent. The rented people were Hindus and they used to make some colorful decorations on the common floor , most of the time. It would be nice to look at it, and it is somewhat attached to their belief system
The Elder who came for the Book study counseled us not to allow our tenant to display their religious Symbols in the common area. We didn’t care anyway.

A Cult Tactic: Removing Guilt By Dehumanising Others
by pale.emperor inin the real world, very few parents would disown their own children simply because they read a magazine that told them to do it.
very few people would forever completely ignore their own parents because an elder got up on a platform one day and announced that they no longer follow the same religion as you.. in the real world it just doesn't happen.
and yet, for 8 million jehovah's witnesses it's very a normal part of their world to treat "other people" differently than they'd treat each other.

Very true article on the Psychology of cults.
When I was leaving the cult, my JW (so called) friends warned me that I would be nothing for them if I leave. And they still behave like that for 10 years. Power of CULTS!!

Myriads and Myriads of Angels ... What Do They Do?
by RubaDub ini never understood this in my entire life in the borg.. who knows how many angels there are, millions, billions?.
an angel protected rahab when the walls of jericho fell.
then one angel killed 24,000 one night.. yet there seems to be this paranoia in the borg like the bunker video and the field video where jw's are under attack and apparently alone or at least it appears alone.. can't a few angels be put on overtime and protect the brothers from the potential "authorities" that wish to harm or eliminate them?.

Praises the WT for JW apps but sneers at members with higher education, in 2018
by ohnightdivine ini guess we all know the answer why this still happens... but really, why?.
just a month ago i was having some conversation with this sister and since i'm on inactive status, she was trying to get me to download all those jw apps because the "work is speeding up" and i shouldn't be missing out on anything from the org.
especially when they come up with all these "provisions" that intend only to benefit the members.

Yes, Small J should have told all about the pomp and glory of heaven and also about this Universe and the Biology of living things. Yet he only spoke about donkeys, trees, slaves and hellfire.
Good reason for me to conclude he is a myth or just another human being who might have been nailed to the cross for a horrible death.

Seems angels are better designed to Kill, than anything else.
Then why kill everyone with the Ark and Deluge Project ? Myriads of Angels could have wiped every human except Noah and his holy family, leaving all the animals intact. Just wondering.
