The JW Bible study conductor teach that Satan played the part of a ventriloquist and used the snake to trick Eve to eat the fruit.
Once a person accepts that Bizarre/foolish/Silly explanation , he/she can be fooled all the way until baptism.
when i was a young man growing up in the religion, i would try to defend whatever the understanding of a doctrine was.
i won a lot of arguments based on the idea that i knew better than anyone i was talking to and defended myself admirably.
(lol)....eventually, i realized i was in a cult but for many years i was a believer and i had faith that the gb knew more that i could understand..

lately i've been thinking over how far i've come over the last 2.5 years since leaving the cult.
when i first left i remember not knowing who i really was and what my beliefs and values were.
previously my values and beliefs were dictated to me the the governing body in watchtower magazines.. i'm politically active, being a member of a political party and i'm even considering running in my local election in a few years.. when it comes to religion, im an atheist who has little time for superstition and "god did it" answers to complex questions.
My JW version: Most of the time self righteous, arguing with People that WT is correct. Many times battered by Conscience and cognitive dissonance, due to conflicting beliefs. Very often felt that WT teachings are too good to be true. Doubted the WT very often yet obeyed them. Very often Hated meetings and dreaded FS.
Current Version: Free in mind and spirit. Learned to live every moment of this only life. All religions seem to be humorous now. Feel pity on religiously devout people, who are wasting their lives. Contribute a lot of time to read the books I want, watch any movies, participate in any ceremonies with an open mind, debate religious people when I get a chance, biking and the list goes on.....
the watchtower company and the jdubs talk so nonchalantly about the year 1914, the year they say jesus became king in the heavenly kingdom.
they talk about the year like it was just a short time ago.
the invisible king began ruling in the invisible kingdom.
104 years ! And not one Sign that Jesus has done anything but sit. He has sat through all the terrible wars, genocide, crimes etc etc of the 20th and early 21st Centuries, and done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING !
Cool Jesus
just thought i'd share this ridiculous picture from a recent watchtower.
in recent years, the word bullying has been thrown around a lot, and often misused by instigators and subtle bullies themselves.
in this picture we learn that your loving family who wants to continue sharing a family tradition with you, who hands you a beautifully wrapped present with a smile on their face, is in fact bullying you.
This Good for Nothing Jehovah kills tribes and tribes of people in the old testament. But still has left Satan on the loose to prove a point.
May I request everyone to ask this to any JW they come across
given the numerous videos on youtube about all the scandals and controversies of the watchtower bible and tract society.
are they headed to becoming one of the most infamous religious groups in the world for all the wrong reasons?.
JWs make us believe that they are the Sun shining with all its Glory, to the darkened world, whereas in reality they are one among the Faintest and dying star that is hardly visible to the naked eye
i was wondering what is the most interesting or the strangest fact you've found out since leaving the jws about:.
the bible.
god .
After leaving the JW, here are my findings:
The bible : Total Nonsense
God : Imagination
Evolution : Facts
Satan : Imagination.
Jesus : My have lived but all his supposed Miracles are fabricated.
Religions in general : Scams
Eventually , it turned me into an Atheist
All of BG's riches are from his followers donations. Otherwise why would we bother.
Did Jesus take any donations from his followers ?
The persons you mentioned as rich in the Bible never amassed wealth from their preaching activities.
And of course, if BG had done any charitable deeds, I would commend him. Better than WT.
He never wavered in his commitment to Jesus of Nazareth
Can we make a chart comparing Jesus's Wealth with Billy Graham's ?
i was in a suburb of cardiff, capital of wales where it was difficult to get near to my customer's offices to deliver and install what i do.
i had my car parked about a hundred yards away and had to make several trips with goods and tools past a local jw trolley cart.
as i was working i didn't stop but observed much of the time from an upper floor office window.. in the hour or so i was there, on a warm sunny (for late february) lunchtime/early afternoon - right by a bus stop and several local shops, cafes and banks with plenty of people about - not one person stopped at the cart.. the two women at the cart i guess were about 50 and 75 respectively - pleasant looking motherly/grandmotherly types.
Why don't this WT realize that this Cart Witnessing is a great disgrace to their good old Jehovah.
the theme of feeding many through the hands of a few was discussed at a recent clam, and it was based on a wt article from 5 years ago.
for some reason though they changed the picture that goes with it.
usually people are erased from pictures when they defect, but this doesn't look too different, just like they made him have more delicate features.. .
Why give him a modern haircut in both pics?
Perhaps Great Clips and Super Cuts Existed then in the middle East. You know, the GB knows this through Holy Spirit.
