we used to use this scripture to show that there was going to be a future resurrection.

but recently i got to thinking about it.

if the apostle paul was right in saying that the righteous on death would be changed in the twinkling of an eye from earthly life to heavenly glory why would there be a future resurrection needed for the righteous?

It’s absurd to the core, to believe in resurrection. Just take one Example:

When Lazarus was resurrected, why did he die again? He should be alive now. Because the Bible says, the wages of sin is death and whoever dies is cleared of their sins.

If Lazarus is still around, that would be an irrefutable proof that the Bible is true.

The Biblical beleif of resurreuction is just as good as the Egyptian belief of an afterlife.

In ancient tiimes, the Egyptians spent a lot of time, Energy and money to build pyramid tombs to support afterlife

JWs and christians do the same now

Aren`t These Two Scriptures At Odds With Each Other ?

romans 13 ,1-7 contrast with 2 cor.4 : 3-6 ,on the one hand the faithful are to be obedient to the superior authorities ,worldly government ,law enforcement ,etc, as its gods arrangement and to go against it is to go against god ?.

then 2 cor .4 : 3-6 states that the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one satan the devil and if you are obedient to that you are supporting satan`s system of things and going against gods arrangement ?.

what sort of mental gymnastics do you need to acquire to accept both of these scriptures and keep your sanity ?.

i was baptised in 1985; appointed a ministerial servant in 1987 (aged 21); refused military service on religious grounds in 1989 (served a three year community service sentence) and was appointed an elder in 1993 (aged 26).

Jehovahs Kindness ?? What about his genocides all throughout the old testament

In addition God allowed angels to go against His will and come down to earth and live here.

You say that you are a thinking person. What convinces you that the Noah flood occurred?

Do you believe that Noah got all the species of the world into an ark ?

So, Noah and only 8 of his family were righteous in the whole world ?

Is a global flood an efficient method to wipe out the Evil people of the earth? Its like flooding the house to kill the bugs.

Why doesn’t the Scientific community accept that a flood occurred some 4000 Years ago. But they do admit that an ice age happened some 40,000 years ago.

hello, i am in the beginning stages of a slow fade.

over the years i have become more and more dissatisfied with the beliefs, teachings, and organizational practices of the organization.

i no longer have faith in it.

First you should prove to yourself that Jehovah Exists and Next prove that a relationship with him Exists. Neither is possible

This "relationship with God" is a Christian Fantasy. Nothing tangible or real. You should do some research and a lot of open minded thinking friend

How Would You React if a Snake Started Talking to You?

just an odd thought i guess.

i saw a large snake in the back of my house the other day and it went on its merry way.

i just asked myself, what if the snake turned around and wanted to have a philosophical discussion on life, the universe or the origin of creation and then began to ask me questions?

The guy who wrote this funny snake talking story, would not have imagined that billions in the future would take it seriously and beleive it .

Why is this an APOSTATE site?!?

i made a big mistake when signing up at this supposed website for jehovah's witnesses.

after reading some things on this site it has become apparent to me that this site is nothing put another pathetic site for apostates: people who betrayed jehovah, left the truth, and are so bitter about their experiene in the truth, and they are angry just like satan because they know they will very soon be dead at jehovah's hand!.

this website should be renamed something more fitting like "satan's playground" or a similar name that would get across the message of your site.. sincerely,.
