  International conventions and natiionalism

  i have been seeing a few international conventions posted here and on social media.

  i can't help but notice what seems like blatant nationalism in terms of dress, greetings, welcome signs.

  am i right or have i simply turned into a hyper sensitive loser that is reading too much into things?

  JWs are encouraged to dress up according to their local culture in international conventions, only for the sake of the sneaky Cult Propaganda.

  That is, other JWs should see that and encourage (Brainwash) themselves as "Ahh see how the truth is spread to so many different lands. This is in accordance to the Bible that the good news would spread to all the lands. We are all speaking the same pure language. Truly this is Jehovahs Organization"

  BTW, what if some tribal people - who are still naked - become JWs and attend the International conventions ?

  Overlapping Generation

  the september 2015 broadcast had david splane explain matthew 24:34 “truly, i say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place”.

  his explanation of this scripture was by means of a chart to indicate an overlapping generation.. .

  no scripture was used to show the overlapping generation concept, and as a result it makes no sense.. to illustrate how crazy this concept is, look at the lyrics of the song my generation.. my generation.

  What ever revisions they are doing to their past failed doctrines, they would cleverly and silently sneak the new doctrineinto one of their studies, not giving much importance to it as if its not a big deal. Time will mold it, and thats what they beleive and it really works.

  They would never admit they were wrong. Rather they would say "Adjustment in thinking"

  Seeing God is just an illusion or a mental disorder, to be honest.

  Sorry, I cant see this video in its entirety as it is just another evangelizer making money out of other peoples ignorance and fear. Is this guy really pure in heart. Doesn't he know that what he is preaching is utter nonsense ? Isnt he making riches from his followers donations ?

  I am a "Once bitten twice shy" - Means I was fooled by a cult and view all religious evangelizers with suspicion now

  Plagues were killing people in thousands and millions during those times. And people didnt know what casued these plagues and deaths. They attributed it to Gods wrath. Nothing else.

  IMHO - Religion itself is a Scam. And there is no point in validating any religion as true or fake.
