  Cart observations from Cardiff South Wales

  i was in a suburb of cardiff, capital of wales where it was difficult to get near to my customer's offices to deliver and install what i do.

  i had my car parked about a hundred yards away and had to make several trips with goods and tools past a local jw trolley cart.

  as i was working i didn't stop but observed much of the time from an upper floor office window.. in the hour or so i was there, on a warm sunny (for late february) lunchtime/early afternoon - right by a bus stop and several local shops, cafes and banks with plenty of people about - not one person stopped at the cart.. the two women at the cart i guess were about 50 and 75 respectively - pleasant looking motherly/grandmotherly types.

  the theme of feeding many through the hands of a few was discussed at a recent clam, and it was based on a wt article from 5 years ago.

  for some reason though they changed the picture that goes with it.

  usually people are erased from pictures when they defect, but this doesn't look too different, just like they made him have more delicate features.. .

  i was reading another thread about the new gb member and it got me wondering if anyone knows someone who partook of the emblems at the memorial even though they knew they weren't 'anointed' just to see what reaction they got?

  did they get questioned by elders?

  did people start treating them differently?

  There was a mid aged sister in my congregation, who was partaking and nobody believed her to be truly anointed.

  She would skip a lot of meetings and was briefly separated from her husband at that time. In-fact an elder even advised me and my wife to stay away from her, when I was new in that congregation.

  Is Satan Real ?

  " It is the True Religion ! "

  speaking to two jw's, separately and days apart, they both weaved in to the conversation the phrase " it is the true religion " .. now in neither case was it possible for me to do my usual thing, piling in with both guns blazing and pointing out that it is impossible for there to be any such thing as "the true religion", unless by "truth" you mean that which is true in your opinion and not supported by facts or reality etc etc.

  my question is : is this mere coincidence, or has there been an article or something telling them to say this ?

  if there is, could someone point me to it ?

  All religions are frauds. So there cannot be anything such as "True Religion". Of course, it can be said that that they Truly deceive People.

  Many things for me were "Too Good to be true" to beleive in the WT world. For Example,

  • JWs are the only ones who would survive Armageddon, and even the good worldly people would be destroyed.
  • Have seen so many good hearted Non JWS who never accept WT teaching, how hard I try.
  • There wasn't any God's Organization or truth prior to CT Russel
  • Almighty Jah remained silent for 1875 years, when his Holy name was removed from his Holy book and WT had to restore it in the early 20th Century.
  • Finally the 607 research was the "Opening of the can of Worms" for me

  i have an uneasy feeling inside that something is coming this year or the next.

  perhaps a new big announcement that turns jwdom on it's head.. we've seen the statement in the watchtower november 15th, 2013 which said:.

  this is not intended to expose wrong teachings etc, just to promote thinking and asking questions.. 1) ask if imperfection and death automatically follow sin.

  jw will answer yes.. 2) ask if satan is imperfect then.. 3) sit back and watch them try to work out what the right answer should be.. sf.
