Matthew 7:7 Jesus says: Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

According to Matthew 7:7 Jesus called us humans... evil.

We are told to give good gifts to our children . We are there to care for our children as infants, provide them food, shelter, medical attention, educate them, help them financially, and try to help them in any way because we love them.

Throughout history, humans have prayed for good health, employment, the end of poverty, the end of human suffering, the end of wars, the cure for cancer, the end of earthquakes...they go unanswered!

If this scripture is really the saying of Jesus, where is the evidence? Shouldn't this one scripture prove there is a God by his actions?

Since such things are manifestations of faith, how could there be any empirical evidence?

Praying to jesus krayst or joke-hova is nothing more than a donation of spiritual energy to joke-hova to help that thing enslave the whole human race. Do you wish to work toward the fulfillment of Agenda 21? That means moving into a 20 square meter apartment and spending the equivalent of 2,000 to 2,500 toilet papers a month on rent (depending on the value of your toilet paper currency). Do you wish the Noahide laws to be enforced? That means no more holidays, no more right to marry whomever you choose (and no more rights to homosexual or premarital sex)? If so, then by all means keep praying to jesus krayst or to joke-hova. Oh yes, you will be working hard 16 hours a day, 7 days a week with never a day off.

    Does Praying Really Matter?

Yes. It makes a person feel better, and that's what is important. A believer praying to God is like an ex-JW yelling or shouting at a JW Witnessing Cart. No Impact whatsoever in both, but it makes you feel better.

    Where is the evidence?

It really depends on what you want to see as an evidence. A divorcee/single mom with two kids does two jobs a day to support herself and to keep her kids in school. She prays to God to give her strength to face the problems of her life. What evidence do you want to see if her prayers are being answered?
