  tell us a little about yourself and your family.. im a 45 year old female.

  married age 18 to another jw (pos son), became the mother of two wonderful children, girl and boy (now adults), divorced and dfd when i was 33 years old and since 2008 married to my first love who used to be my classmate when i was 16 (but got kicked out of my life by my dad b/c he wasnt a jw).. were you a born in or a convert?.

  my grandmother from fathers side, my parents, 2 of my 3 sisters and their husbands (one is an elder) and kids, my brother and his wife and children, and the wifes of my two uncles are all still jw (uncles both have faded, but their cult personas are still intact, unfortunately).

  You need to tell them nothing related to the rules of their cult. There is no such thing as a JW apostate. The JW's would have to be the true religion for the term apostate to even apply to anyone. They are a deluded doomsday cult founded by men, so the term apostate is meaningless regarding anyone that leaves their bat-shit crazy religion.

  This is simple to solve short of telling the uber dub to go F himself. It's your family's house, so pull him aside, embarass him or whatever, but by all means set the ground rules.

  1) He will keep all his opinions to himself.

  2) He will keep the study to 1 hour.

  3) Dare him to make you feel uncomfortable in your own home.

  Disfellowshipped daughter not told of father's death

  my wife was informed by her father that an old jw friend had died so she decided to text his daughter ( who lives abroad & is disfellowshipped ) her condolences.

  immediately the daughter phoned my wife in great anguish as she hadnt been informed that her father had died ( bearing in mind this event had happened 3 days previously.

  ) of course any chance that she might have had for coming over for the funeral had past.. her two brothers are elders and her sister is a regular pioneer but not one of them had thought to let their sister know.

  .. .........................some people are truly in need..some are not... a man passing by on his 10 speed bike,asked me for $2.00 for a cup of coffee... .................................................."uhhh,no"... ............another asked me for spare change outside a super market... ......................................i said i didn`t have any... ...................so he say`s "how about a credit card?!"......lol!!...

  JW.org to be banned in Russia

  my facebook was "lit up" today with all the out cries about the possibility of the organization's website being banned in russia.. as many of you recall this past august a court in russia banned the website and sought to make accessing the website in russia illegal.

  well tomorrow the appeal by the org will be heard in court.

  if the appeal is denied, jw.org will no longer be available in that part of the world, causing endless lamentations and cries of "persecution", only to bolster the idea that they are truly hated by the world because they are true christians.

  I Am Home Today With A Lousy Back Ache

  my lower back went out again.

  typically, once every 9 months, i get a terrible spasm that can last for days.

  right now, i am icing it but i am so sore!

  I like heat also when having a back pain issue. Try the hottest epsom salt bath that you can stand. Then if you have someone that can rub & crack your back, that will give you some relief. Use a heating pad when in bed.

  i read article after article about the billions the gb rakes in from fleecing the sheep but i've never heard anyone explain what happens to the money.. i mean is it in a swiss account?

  are the gb living in private mansions?

  The Watchtower is a religious publishing house/ holding company corporation cult. We have seen the cult morph from making their money primarily by printing Watchtower literature to now making money primary by selling real estate. The constant remodeling of KH's seems to be a money maker for them also. Now with a huge amount of cash, no doubt financial investments are a main source of income for the Watchtower.

  You might liken it to a bee hive. The queen bee is the Governing Body and the JW's the various other bees doing their assigned duties. The honey equals the money. All the Watchtower does is make money. They spend a little of it, but their main enjoyment is watching the money amount grow.
