  I totally agree with your approach to this issue. There should be zero tolerance of those who post other's personal information as there is a real possibility and even a probability of adverse consequences to the person who has been exposed in this manner.

  Additionally, those who publicly disclose the personal data of others might also consider the fact that such conduct could expose them to legal consequences, including, without limitation, civil liability for invasion of privacy.

  who viciously attack the teachings and beliefs of their resigned religion?.

  i was thinking of this last night....i have never in my life seen a movement so big as the apostates against jw's..... no other religion has displayed this....usually people just quietly leave and get on with their lives and there is no anomosity...even if they have been wronged by their religion.... but with jw's it's different...it's an all out and out attack on anyone and everyone who has something positive to say.... makes me believe the bible and the jw's even more...being here is setting the doubt in my mind right....

  Wronged is a very friendly way of describing what the Jehovah's Witness cult did to me, my family, and countless others. Encouraging parents to coerce their children into becoming marketing slaves for a corporation via the threat of severe beatings is a good basis for some animosity and resentment. Secondly, as I recall, thousands of hours of my precious childhood were stolen from me as a result of being forced to sit through extremely long, boring programming sessions (aka "meetings") in which the society burned the idea that life should be miserable into everyone's heads, using idiots to spew this nonsense from the podium. Thanks to the Society, JW children are denied the joy of holidays and meaningful relationships with non-believing family members. Finally, although I could go on and on, the pervasive use of inquisitions (i.e. judicial committees) into the personal lives of JWs and resulting disfellowshippings have destroyed many families and contributed to the higher than normal suicide rate experienced by those who have been exposed to the JW cult.

  You can blab all you want, but your bibble babble won't erase the damage the JW cult did to me and my family, nor will you erase the anger that I harbor against your cult. I feel very sorry for you, as one day you will realize the truth about the "truth," but, unfortunately, it will probably be too late to preempt the damage the "truth" will do to your life. Good luck to you, you're going to need it.

  Amazing,

  I don't see how the issue of nuclear weapons and power is related to JW discussion, but since you've raised it, are you an advocate of the expansion of the use of nuclear power in this country? If so, what would you propose to deal with the issue of nuclear waste? Are you in favor of legislation limiting liability to the public for catastrophic accidents attributable to nuclear plant operators?

  I personally believe that the risks of nuclear power far exceed the benefits, and the answer to our energy concerns does not lie in a nuclear reactor.

  Scare tactics indeed. The real scare tactics are those utilized by the current administration in its efforts to justify its plans to drill at Anwar and expand the use of nuclear power.

  before you jump the gun and start offering a friendly hand maybe you should take the advice given and do some reading & research here first.

  you are going to be very surprised with what you find from these so-called loving x-witnesses.. let me give you a couple of examples.. go look up the topic: bryant memorial report.

  read how sadden everyone was to learn of this man who couldnt deal with lifes problems and decided to become judge and jury for his whole family and took them out with a shot gun blast to head as they slept in their beds.

  You failed to address my question as to whether you also condone and/or engage in the child abuse and exploitation that is rampant in the JW cult, but put plenty of effort into disparaging others here. Is your failure to respond attributable to a lack of self-confidence or is it indicative of your tacit approval of child abuse and exploitation?

  As for your characterization of others here as "idiots," maybe you should learn proper spelling and grammar before you criticize the intellect of others. You present yourself as just another dummy who adhered to the Society's admonitions against higher education.

  Since you want to stereotype others on this board, are you a proponent of child abuse like many others in your cult? As a child, I was coerced under threat of severe beatings to engage in marketing services (i.e. "going out in service") on behalf of your sickening cult, without compensation. Additionally, I was forced to endure thousands of hours of boring, mindless mental programming spewed from a podium dominated by idiots. Holidays and non-believing family members were a no no, as were birthdays, and school sports and other activities. Education was discouraged as being likely to contribute to attrition in your cult.

  The Jehovah's Witness cult has caused immeasurable misery for millions of people and destroyed countless families. You seek to defend a cult that owes a big moral debt to the many people it has harmed.

  I served your despicable cult without compensation and endured much hardship as a result of your cult. Your defense of it is like bile to me, it brings up lots of vomit.

  i am an active jehovah witness, but i am very lonely so i am looking for others with the "hope" or to speak to those that know someone that does.

  You can talk to me, because I'm neither DF'd nor DA'd. But you're not going to like what you hear.

  I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you are representing yourself as being a member of the "annointed," the "faithful and discreet slave" of a cult.

  I was a slave of the JWs at one time. The JWs encouraged my parents to coerce me into performing marketing services on behalf of the WTS (i.e. "going out in service"), without compensation. I was also forced to endure thousands of hours of ignorant bibble babble spewed from a platform dominated by idiots. But that wasn't enough. I was also denied any opportunity to participate in school sports and activities, denied normal family relationships with my extended family, denied the enjoyment of holidays, and robbed of my culture by parents who zealously adhered to the message of your cult.

  After 14 years of this torture, I stopped attending, and opted instead to suffer the consequences of disobeying my parent's commands. That was 22 years ago, and my only regret is that I wasn't able to do it sooner.

  If you suddenly believe you are of the "annointed class," may I respectfully suggest that you seek counseling, as such a belief is really a delusion. I hope that you will also attain mental freedom some day. Good luck to you.

  Your rampant desire to talk about little else but sex can't help but leave the impression there are some serious issues you have in that regard, i.e. addiction. Have you considered getting counselling not just over this but even in your desire to go back into something so wrong as your last relationship.

  What one person considers to be an "addiction," is considered by many others to be a blessing. Is there such a thing as too much sex? No, as long as it isn't causing you to live in a cardboard box behind a shopping center. Even then, as long as you're happy there, it's fine!

  Therapist? I think so, but not the type presumably referred to in the above quote. Butal needs a therapist with a very "hard" approach, one that will satisfy her heretofore insatiable sexual appetite. A professional license is optional.

  my mother has been sick for a couple of months and undergoing a battery of tests, she is a jw.

  we live 3000 miles apart.

  well she just called and informed me that she had just received some bad news from her doctor this afternoon.

  If her hemoglobin level is down to a 4, it's likely to affect her mentally as well as physically. I'd get over there right away, and, outside your mother's presence, make sure those JWs understand that there will be severe consequences for them if they interfere with you in doing what is right for your mother (legal consequences).

  Next, I'd ask your mother where in the bible that it says that certain small amounts of blood transfusions are ok, while other larger transfusions are prohibited. The JWs are ok with organ transplants, but not blood transfusions. There is no way to excise all the blood from a transplanted organ; hence, the recipient of an organ transplant is getting a blood transfusion, even if the amount of blood is slight. The JWs are totally inconsistent in their approach to this issue; maybe seeing that will help your mother understand.

  You are your mother's best hope for survival. Good luck to you, I wish you and your family the best!

  I hope the guy saved a garden hose to hook up to his tailpipe and insert in a window while sitting in the car in the garage with the engine running. It causes less mess, and he'll surely want to kill himself after he feels the new pain in his life attributable to being mentally enslaved by a cult that values miserable living and communist ideals.

  This is an excellent illustration of a fruitful marketing tactic utilized by the JW cult; hit on folks when they are experiencing some sort of life crisis. That's when they're most vulnerable and easier to manipulate. Their Watchtower horseshit fails on anyone who has their head on straight.

  May the watchtower adorn the top of the excrement pile in your nearest outhouse. That'll make it available for fresh poop and pee to wash it down to the bottom of the sewage tank.

  I'd rather have her at my door than a JW preaching armageddon and no premarital sex. I'd buy her cookies, but I wouldn't take the Watchtower or the Awake or any other WTBTS excrement peddled by the mentally and/or physically enslaved.
