What's your opinion on this? What if you caught your husband or wife engaging in an odd situation at his/her computer screen? Is it cheating? Would you be jealous? Is it grounds for divorce? Or is it just innocent playing around? I don't mean explicit or graphic acts w/ his or her mouse, just dirty talk back and forth...

    No... it's just play.

Sometimes in the chat room I will start "playing" with the women there (at least I HOPE they are women! ), but I don't take it seriously... it's just play.

According to Dr. Phil (who is on Oprah weekly) he says that cybersex is cheating. There are many websites out there also that have the same thought.

Let's just say that both my wife and I would consider such cybersex a violation of our loyalty to one another. So yeah, it's cheating.

I agree AlanF. I would be upset if it was dirty talking, but I most certainly would (and have) dumped gfs who went the extra step in that regard.

Is it cheating? How you personally feel about it is really irrelevant. How your significant other feels about it is much more important.

Hey if you are single... whatever turns your crank (presuming mutual consent and no animals or children!), but once you are in a committed relationship, IMO engaging in sexual fantasy with another person is inappropriate and a betrayal to the 'exclusive intimacy' that should be reasonably expected by the significant other in your life, be it spouse or an exclusive boyfriend/girlfriend type relationship.

Just my opinions and moral stance I take for myself.

Personally, I think it is wrong. I think both my husband and myself, would be just as worried if one of us had an emotional affair or attachment with someone of the opposite sex. Dirty talk would not even have to come into the picture. Of course we both enjoy having friends and talking to men and women, but there is a line you dont cross when you love someone.

IT IS CHEATING! My friends husband does this and it hurts her as much as if he actually went out and did the actual act with the women.

I don't want someone in my life I can live with. I want someone in my life I can't live without.

My ex(before the dub) used to go to those nude sites and look at naked pic's and that would really piss me off, I mean why go online when the real thing is there waiting offline...What really pissed me off is one day when I turned my computer on, and I had a pic of a bare chested little harlot on my desktop, and found out that he was dialing out using a 900 number from my modem at $6.99 a minute. I made him a wonderful meal that night laced w/ mineral oil!! LOL. And I put a power-up password on my system.
