I often wonder how those gb members must have felt when one of them introduced the f*cked idea of "overlapping generations"! Inside they had to think "WTF". Let's start drinking and see if we can come up with a better explanation.

Death of NASA Legend Aged 101
by cofty inkatherine johnson passed away today aged 101. she was the subject of the excellent movie hidden figures that told the story of her amazing work as a mathematician calculating trajectories for space flights.. 'ms.
johnson helped our nation enlarge the frontiers of space even as she made huge strides that also opened doors for women and people of color in the universal human quest to explore space.

I found an old pamphlet in one of my JW books. About the Hoxsey cure

a 1969 awake, that had a pamphlet from a senator who gave a speech on the hoxsey cure.
i know of several jws who went to mexico and got this treatment.

I grew up in Southern California (the LA area). Many jw's went to Mexico and the Hoxsey clinic for treatment of various ailments. I've been there several times myself to take brothers and sisters and my own mom! Most went there hoping for a cancer cure. The "treatment" consisted of a special 'tonic' and a very restrictive diet. In my experience, the Hoxsey clinic treatment helped just like prayer helps. In other words, if a person believes that god will cure them of cancer if they pray fervently, so be it! Some folks that I knew got some relief after trying the Hoxsey "cure" but others died, some of them were very young! Neither prayer nor Hoxsey could help some of them!
My mom, well she went there for arthritis treatment. She said it helped. Moms are usually right----except when they're wrong!

Evil Wind Chimes
by Sea Breeze ini remember going door to door in the late 60's with my mother as a 5 or 6 year old.
one time she caught me looking at the wind chimes on a porch.
she told me they had pagan origins, were evil, and were somehow connected to demons.

The word bible comes from the root "book or books". After reading the bible, it's obvious that some of the guys that wrote those books were strange and delusional. Some were historians and as with all history, the facts and the truth get slanted and distorted. The bible is a strange collection of writings gathered by the RCC.
So if god 'inspired' the bible, it's very hard to believe. impossible, in a god that did such violent and horrific things to his little creatures here on this tiny spec in the vast universe!

using only scriptural proof, show me why you believe that the wtbts/ccojw is god's choice and i'll tell you if i agree with your scriptural reasoning.".

I'd answer that question by saying WTF! For about 80 years the "faithful and discreet slave" didn't even know who who the "faithful and discreet slave" was. So how do we know that "they" got it right this time? Answer..We don't know and neither do "they"!
