I have a few I'd like to track down...
I know a really vocal exJW apostate from my old congregation, I've thought about giving her a call but her anti JW tweets are a little much so I've put it off so far...
after reading from another thread, i felt it was worth asking this question.. if you left the borg on your own, have you attempted to meet others whom you used to be connected with while you were "in", but who have also become ex-jw's before or after you have left the wts?
if that's the case, has it remained a friendship, or the connection grew cold?
just curious as to what keeps friendships "stick" [or not] once you no longer have the borg's doctrinal glue.. your experiences are welcome.. eden.

today i was at the meeting (i go there about once a month now).
in the service meeting they had a part where they interviewed the secretary of the congregation.. so one question was: "why are the service reports so important?".
our secretary explained that the reports are important, because the elders can see, who is spiritually weak.
Ah, just the guy you want to come do a shepherding visit... :/
this is not meant to be a slag off the bible thread.. i had a question asked me the other day and it was: 'do you live by anything from the bible?'.
i had to think about that one because i was force grown in the filthy, disgusting cult of the paedophile loving watchtower(r).. you know what?
i really don't know if i just naturally am a great bloke or if any 'nice' bits in the bible influenced me......or has western culture been influenced by the bible for good and bad?.
I try to live as best I can by the sermon on the mount. I think I'm generally pleasant but I doubt I would have got to the loving your enemies stuff on my own.
I find I'm particularly inspired by Jesus call to nonviolent resistance in the face of aggression, but then I guess I would rarely need to put that into practice where I live.
even grumpy cat would smile :).

a pet dog appeared to faint from overwhelming joy after being reunited with a family member after two years.. rebecca ehalt had been living and working in slovenia.
This is wonderful! Thanks for sharing.
all religionsincluding jwsare thriving on complicating spirituality.
look at the books and magazines a small group such as jws have published, not to mention the works of other mammoth religions.
yet, are they not all mere waste?.
What about the brahma kumaris?
Because paradise is forever dressing like a JW at a meeting.
hey everyone,.
well me, fraz and laika had a little meetup before we went on holiday.....it was great to meet fraz for the first time.
our hols were teriffic and i have enjoyed dating too.
No takers yet but it is a month away! I'll bump the thread later.
yep, that's right.
after all my friends and my efforts, the shunning carries on.. the 3 people who were shunning me at my local supermarket, still, are carrying on this practice.. little subtleties like avoiding eye contact, making busy as i walk past and looks out of the corner of their eyes.
you know the modus operandi.. nothing now the store can do about it.
Hi Quelly,
I am sorry to hear this, but it might help to keep in mind that JWs do this in the hope of their vindication at Armageddon. That's not going to happen so they never really 'win'.

Hi Kate!
Glad you had a good holiday, let me know if you want me to do any vetting on your date's profiles. ;)

That is wonderful, happy birthday!
