2005 Barbecue Is Definitely On!
by Englishman insaturday seems to be much preferred over sunday, so this years bbq will be held on saturday, july 9th, commencing around 2 pm.
location is our home in weston super mare.
as usual, the day will be very boozy and proceedings will conclude in the waverley pub.

is anyone else a fan of klf, hell as any one else even heard of them?.
what makes this a challenge is that bill drummond and jimmy cauty, who formed the kopyright liberation front, distroyed their entire back catalogue some years ago about the same time as they burnt 1,000,000 pounds as a work of art.

WHO WILL TAKE YOUR FUNERAL
by tijkmo indont mean to be morbid here.
but as a jw all of this was taken care of.
now i think if i were to die tomorrow i wouldnt want a jw funeral (although technically i could still qualify) and i wouldn't even want any of my former associates who abandoned me when i needed them most to be there... so what arrangements have you made.

Why have a funeral? I want my ashes popped in a firework and fired off a very remote beach while my partner and friends get pissed as newts. This does require dying young as my friends would have to abseil down a cliff to get to the beach, and i can't see them doing that when they're elderly.

Is it time to demollish the welfare state in the UK
by Gill init's an unfortunate fact that the uk is gradually slip sliding away in the ranks of great achieving countries.. our tennis players aspire to greatness but slip at the last, and often first hurdle.
our national health service though catering to all, is no where near the quality it should be.
i can vouch for that fact from last weekends experience, having to call an emergency doctor out to see my son, he missed totally what was wrong with him.

It's "chavs" now but it was "casuals" in the 80s. And I got jumped by them and managed not to call out the death squads.
Am I the only one that doesn't object to my taxes (15 years of) helping out those less fortunate than myself? Yes there are some blaggers, but I can live with that.

It was like the scene from Blithe Spirit and we could barely contain ourselves whenever she asked "Is there anbody there?" followed by a lilting Scottish "Helloooo?" It seems that the two unbelievers were more powerful than the two believers and however many spirits were present in the room's ether.For a brief moment I thought I felt ectoplasm on my lips but it was a Charlotte Church aka a Cheeky Vimto - two parts port to one part WKD.

The only Tom Cruise film I've seen in the cinema was Eyes Wide Shut and he played the glossy, vacuous, cypher well enough. WOTW doesn't appeal that much but boy, does Dakota Fanning look frightened in those adverts.
