i have a strong reason to believe that the change that will be announced in next few days among jehovah's witnesses will bring a major "refining" work among its members.
take a note of this:
if are not regular in meetings and service of field than you're signalling that you're no longer a jehovah's witness.
That is not really a big surprise since the wt is announcing The End is upon us again, and scaring the weak ones that if they don't get their butts back to jah they will die with everyone else . The horrible death the the wt uses to keep their flock in line.
It's another ploy by the wt to scare and get their numbers up.
You are with us ,or die.
is it normal behavior for jw's to poke their nose in non jw's business?
to tell them they are sinning?
these would not be close friends but merely aquaintances.
Yes Carla, it does happen and more then you would think. I saw this many times by my husband and other jws especially when they are freshly baptised and yes ,it is mortifying to say the least and embarrassing. I have seen jws do this to people in stores ,especially around Holidays and even children they don't even know.

I am married to a jw and holidays and birthdays are always very hard as i go it alone to family birthdays and holidays. I am like the loner because i am the only one married to a jw that celebrates nothing.
Hard you ask, it only gets harder as time goes by ,and i can't say my husband feels bad but feels he will go against his God if he would join in celebrating.
Your spouse is to be your soulmate but how can this be when a cult stops him from sharing happy celebrations and you are to go it alone .
My relationship is not strangly unique or normal, more like it is just there.
What is it like ? Well when you marry a jw you have just married the wt .

many years ago, there were many white cars around, but since 10 years around here, maybe 1% of cars are white.
and most of them are old cars.. i don't know if this is just a local thing, but you just don't see white cars anymore in most new car dealer parking lots.. for some reason, i still like white and haven't had one in years, and i do change car often, and was wondering if white is "out" and old fashioned now a days..... i think that there are many white cars where the climate is hot, but up here in canada, it ain't so..
Never white but then i only would buy a truck .I now have a red truck but would rather have black.
I like color and my favorite is black ,then dark blue.

well, i broke it to my super devout parents that after this i don't believe there is any reason why i should trust any 'brother' i don't know around my kids.. no way, no how!.
they had to admit this was pretty shocking and enlightening but they still ended up making excuses.

each time i go to the mcdonalds near by, i see jehovah witnesses there.
either for their morning break in the field service, or just an afternoon coffee, or an evening lunch i'll meet one or a few there.. last night i went to the drive through at mcdonalds, and noticed that the car in front of me looked familiar....and finally i saw that it was a brother.. i'm pretty sure you'll find mcdonald restaurants in the new system .
Around these parts Mc Donalds is called clown food and it does seem to fit

i have had a couple of cats for years.
last thursday i noticed one of them could not urinate.
i have seen this before so i assumed that he had a stone blocking up his works.
I feel if an animal has a fighting chance and as long as i can afford it i will do whatever it takes ,but on the other hand if the pet has a slim chance and in pain,also if money is tight then i would let them be put down.
I spent alot on my horse hoping he would live only to have him put down a few months after treatment and that thought me a lesson.
But it all depends on how you can live with your decision and know you made the right one.
