Bad Dates?
by simplesally inran across these experiences and thought they were funny:monica, 40, knew she wasn't interested in a guy she met at a speed dating event by the end of the date.
"he insisted twice on cracking my back after our goodbye hug," she says, noting she declined his offer for a back adjustment and a second date.
sheryl, 32, was thrilled when a hunky jock asked her out to a dinner theater.

Hey Steph,
The next time you are crawling around on the floor at Staples you should check out what they have for new computers.

What didn't you know?
by confusedjw ini didn't have a clue to these issues below.
i was surprised after 20 years in the wtbts to find out that...... 587bce and not 607bce <--- not a clue about this.. 1874 was taught until 1929 as the date jesus took rule in heaven <------ actually i did read this once and surpressed it due to my great faith in the org.. that jesus is the mediator of all men (and women) .
that the great crowd of rev is in the temple (naos) <--- they are in heaven, scripturally speaking.

That the Great Crowd of Rev is in the Temple (naos) <--- They are in heaven, scripturally speaking
That in 1925 predictions were made that resulted in disappointment <--- Never a word about this reached my ears
That vaccinations were once not allowed <---- Who knew?
That organ transplants were once allowed, not allowed, allowed <---- New light, new organs.
I had never heard of these things until I started to look elsewhere

I've never cheated and never been cheated on (I'm pretty sure )
Bury it and bury the shovel.
Did you hear that?
Bury it and bury the shovel.
And yes if my wife had cheated on me and felt guilty and loved me and decided to stay with me I don't think I would want to know. I know that right now I"m very happy with her and would be affected to know she had ever cheated. I want MAX happiness. So without implying permission....bury it and bury the shovel.
You made the mistake you bare the burden alone.
That's it, that's my advice

Can some one explain how 607 is wrong
by XQsThaiPoes inthe watchtower and many others claim something happend in 607. this is based on the idea the bible is acurate.
the watchtower states in a few places 586 is the "real date" but they would make the bible wrong which is a no no.
i know they have a vested interest in 607. i can't figure out why is this such a controversy.

It stands in sharp contrast to the dead-end dates of 586-7 for the Fall of Jerusalem and to the muddled interpretations for the seventy years.
I assume you aren't serious and just like to tweak the tails of posters here. If not, I admire your faith in a man's dating system in the face of historical facts.

I wonder what is the humane way to abort a fetus that is holding onto your finger? Club it like a baby seal?
(this is not an antiabortion or pro life post - I don't have a political position or agenda on this matter. It was just a question.)

Google Said:
I'm Confused still, but it's better than being an Underpaid Choagie Boy, right?"Let's cutachoagie." Tim said. " What is cutachoagie?" Patty asked.
Tim explained that it was a Korean-American slang word. Choagie meant to go in Korean. Therefore to cut a choagie was a different way to sat let's go. Patty nodded his head.

Flowers for Algernon - anyone ever read it?
by Sunnygal41 ini remember this from school............it was one of those short stories that were required reading.........i remember being totally swept away by it and deeply saddened by the ending.. .
daniel keyes wrote little sf but is highly regarded for one classic, flowers for algernon.
as a 1959 novella it won a hugo award; the 1966 novel-length expansion won a nebula.

Thank you. *crossing Flowers for Algeron* off my list.
( Can't handle being deeply saddened. I always ask my wife before a movie that she has picked out "Does anyone die in this movie that I will care about?" )

Can you share what their defense was to the UN issue as well as doctrinal issues? I'd like to see if my reaction would be the same as yours.

Devon,
That is not good form for the Dr. Office to call and leave a message like that. Tell your mom I'd be a wreck too.
Godspeed to her and your family through this.
