  jehovah`s witnesses make a big deal about the 2 or 3 witnesses in judicial decisions yet they ignore that evidence when it suits them.. firstly :.

  regarding the length of a generation matthew ch.1:17 gives a strong clue ,their are 3 lots of 14 generations mentioned which equal 42 generations from the time of abraham to jesus .. watchtower publications give abrahams birth as 2018 bc......they also give jesus birth as of 2 bc a period of 2016 years .

  humans are basically social animals.

  see most any isolated mammal, whether in a zoo or even an outcast of its pride and you'll see one mentally disturbed creature.

  maybe, after this pandemic has faded and humans are able to interact once more, some jw's might think twice before being so quick to shun.

  hi i was on here a few years ago, i ended up caving to family pressure and returning to the borg i've since married and have 2 children .

  all the reasons i returned are still here, my parents are elderly and i really don't want to hurt them but i just can't do it anymore i need to leave before my kids are brainwashed, i need to be clever this time .

  last time i was dfed and became dependant on drink i am in aa and sober now and learning the true meaning of sprituality i know without a doubt that it is a dangerous cult, but i need some tips on fading, its so hard when i want to shout from the roof tops how blind they are.

  Your halfway there Cordelia with both you and your husband out ,that is a plus.It can be difficult with you not wanting your family to know ,and only you know why you feel that way.

  Though I am not in your shoes ,my thoughts are along these lines .

  If somebody doesn`t want to know me for who I am as a person ,then they are not a person I want to know.

  Family or not.

  Really the choice is theirs.

  I fail to comprehend people who live their lives based on how others view them ? trying to please them?

  You have one life to live ,don`t throw it away by trying to please how others want you to live.

  it's quite terrifying being on your own out there in a lone wolf kinda way.

  i'm not sure how much my brain can tolerate this mest up feeling of social abandonment caused by the borg and family.

  i think everyone has heard about the video at the convention a few years back where an older ‘brother’ relates that “some were selling their homes” pre 1975, and it makes it look like the rank and file are stupid.

  it shifts the blame to the r&f.

  no mention of the km that advocated it.. and you have all seen the km that said it, and that it was the may 1974 km.. however, it was not.

  It sounds to me like the same thing that went on with the "Millions Now Living Will Never Die "

  being changed to "Millions Now living May Never Die "

  and also the year 1914 being when the end would come and all the brothers being taken up to heaven ?

  And when that didn`t happen it changed to 1914 when we were in the time of the end and being taken up to heaven was for a future date ,and in the meantime we have to Preach This Good News of The Kingdom for a Witness to all the Nations and the End will come ,which still has not been accomplished.

  The preaching of this good news of the kingdom to all of the nations.Nowhere near ever being fulfilled .

  Mainland China ? No

  Muslim Countries ? No

  And that alone means Billions of people who have never heard of Jehovah God or any of his witnesses.And not even heard of the Christian Bible.

  And why have Jehovah`s Witnesses adopted the same number of books of the Bible that most protestants use ?

  And these bible books that were approved as being Gods word was from no other than the Catholic church in the third Century ?

  Why have Jehovah`s Witnesses adopted the name for God that a Spanish Catholic monk of the 13th Century came up with using the equivalent letters of the alphabet of his day with the four letters of the Tetragrammaton and came up with JHVH ,added a couple of vowels and came up with the name Jehovah.

  The first edition of the publication "Aid to Bible Understanding" admitted that Jehovah was probably not the best pronunciation of Gods name ,however it was the most popular name in use ? In use by whom ? Christendom of course, who else is interested in using the name of God ?

  To Whom it may concern :

  Its the lazy brain that doesn`t do their own research and rely`s on others to do that for them.Then that person just goes along with what or which "other" makes them "feel" good .

  This is a tactic that the WT/JW`s have employed for decades and keeps the rank and file under control.

  Haven`t they themselves said, " you don`t need to spend hours and hours doing your own research ? we have already done that for you " ?

  Or words to that effect .

  And that keeps them in control / control / control of their members.
