well judging from past prophetic pronouncements....go figure.

BluesBrother ,so was YHWH wrong in creating Adam and producing Jesus with a foreskin in the first place ?

Stupid me , I have two sons while in the struth , my first born was un circumcised and my second son who was born 6 years later was circumcised when in my religiousness thought it must have been the thing to do .

Their "version" of Almighty God and his son implies a mass-murdering of billions of people for being stupid, deceived, scripturally uneducated, not joining their sect of Christianity, etc. etc.

Didn`t GOD set the precedent for this when he brought a world wide flood on the Earth ?

Watchtower looses Norwegian Appeal

watchtower has just lost its appeal in the norwegian courts over the withdrawal of the funding it receives from the government as an officially recognised religion.

the initial decision will now stand due to what the court termed 'exclusionary practices' which includes the witnesses barbaric practice of shunning minors, even by family members in their own homes.

the ministry of children and families have decided they are now no longer eligible for the state grant of 16 million norwegian kroner given to officially recognised religions.. the following is a statement has been issued, i have summarised if it isn't readable: .

Becoming a JW

i rarely post here, but i often check in.

i used to post on h2o as well.

i think i once posted some of this on h2o, but there are many new ones who have joined since then.. i first encountered jw's at the age of 9. it wasn't in the door-to-door work, however.

I wonder how may people like us were active JW`s before 1975 and are still here now ?

I also wonder how many ex JW`s know or knew JW`s had an earlier date for the end of 6000 years in the late 1800`s ?

Offhand i cant remember the exact date , so 1975 was their second guess at it .

Have JW `s ever faced the topic of Jesus having inherited Adamic sin ?

according to the bible all humans male and female have inherited sin because of adam and eve`s disobedience to god .. god may have impregnated mary with a life force , however it was still sinful mary who gave birth to jesus after nine months in her body who is /was supposedly without sin ?.

mary must have passed on some of her sinful state to jesus having been in her womb for the past nine months , surely.

and there is nothing in the bible / scripture to say otherwise ?.

DOC , everybody who leaves the JW religion need to get off their backside and go and make new freinds in the real world .

There are so many different ways anybody can do this with the multitude of clubs and activities in the communities to get involved in.

Volunteering in so many activities ,, sporting clubs, social clubs, health clubs , aged care , and the list goes on.

My personal experience not for everybody I admit but just as an example.:

I belong to two clubs where I can have a couple if ales and socialise with other members a bowls club ,and I dont bowl and a sports club and i`m not involved in a sport.but I socialise with members like myself.

I also belong to a mens health and fitness gym and do what I can with my health issues as I`m 83 years old now.

And I`m enjoying every moment of my life while I still have it.

Honestly , I look back and I can`t believe I spent 32 years of my life in a cult and brought up two boys in it ,thankfully everybody in our family are now well and truly out and enjoying their lives.
