  well when they first started the warwitch project, only the cream of the crop were allowed to go.

  they read a letter this week in my area, inviting all brothers in good standing, to go to a special meeting for anyone with building experience.

  they must be desperate, to allow the low life plain everyday sheeple's to volunteer!.

  GB member: "Well we do have this issue of contaminated land however we have done that ourselves."

  GB member Lett: "Well I really like the idea of living on a road called 'Kings Drive'. How appropriate, this must be a sign from Jehovah.... let's buy it!"

  In addition to saving money, they have run out of original ideas.

  They no longer have crazy cult propaganda writers on the GB. Russel, Rutherford, Fred Franz, Ray Franz were all prolific generators of cult content that could pass through GB committee with ease.

  Those days are over! Today's GB have no original ideas.... everyone under them are probably to fearful to bring forward new ideas because they are all yes men. The GB were yes men until recently.

  are the governing body of the wt wickedly smart with extremely high iq or are they leaders of the wt because they were at the right place at the right time.

  (in other words, pure luck )-think lottery.

  ive seen them talk in jwtv and you can never convince anyone in the whole world that these guys are in the same category as someone smart or cunning like jim simons who founded renaissance technologies or bill gates.

  For most of the WT history someone on the GB had a very active roll in producing content. Russel, Rutherford, Fred Franz, Ray Franz were all prolific writers of propaganda content.

  I am not aware of any GB members today who are as actively involved in producing content and a primary reason for the recycled food and dumb down content IMO.
  

  For this reason I say they are dumber then previous members.

  For what they lack in writing ability and producing new spiritual content, they more than make up for in shrewedness.

  i only bring this to the board, because a friend of mine once said he felt sorry for the footballers who made so much money.

  that comment stayed with me, and over the years,the more i thought about that comment the more i agreed with him.. i admit the g.b destroy people's life's and are the sublimation of all that's good in people's life.

  since the move, it has been so enjoyable to not have jw's breathing down our necks asking why we didn't make the meeting, or having to pretend to be "spiritual" in front of family all the time.. 90% of my week is virtually stress free.

  then, my mom calls or texts wanting to talk to her grandkids.

  every dang call, she asks about the new congregation, if we went to the meeting, etc.. why can't i tell her to fk off?

  me: i've been told that construction of the new branch has been stopped - is this true?.

  debbie: no, it has not ceased, it's carrying on as normal - can i ask where you're calling from?.

  My Mom Is Dying

  i just wanted to say that my dear 89 year old mom is terminally ill and will soon pass.

  she is on morphine and hanging on.

  she has been a devout witness for about 60 years and a wonderful mother.
