  Who really is the Faithful and Discreet Slave? The recent changes and the Governing Body's 10 year plan

  i am sure we were all shocked at the governing body update #2 with the unusual and impulsive changes set forth.. i am an insider at whq, and when i was on reddit and in communication with avoidjw i explained to the best of my ability that the approach on disfellowshipping was going to change based on the new light at the 2023 agm, that the jubilee rumor was false, and there were going to be changes on how jws approached disfellowshipping in response to the norway situation if it didn't turn out in watchtower's favor.

  the decision came because of a legal blow to watchtower, not because "holy spirit" wad directing a faithful slave, who is going to become the "evil slave", more explanation on this soon.. everything i stated came true.

  i left reddit exjw community due to the immature and mentally unstable nature there, and yet as has been the case my words came true.

  Forget 1914, the 1975 generation are now passing away!

  we still have quite a few elderly here that came in as young families in the late 1960's-early 70's because soon, yes very soon they would enter the new system and never grow old.

  it's now one year away from 50 years since 1975. just in the last couple years i've seen them come down with alzheimer's, cancer, brain tumors, becoming invalid etc.

  the children of them that are now around 60 are just so distraught at seeing their parents deteriorate.

  Yes, I was thinking about this!

  The group of 'young ones' I grew up with in the congregation are all approaching their 60's now.

  My close friends parents who believed the end was imminent in 1975 are mostly all passed away or in their 80's..

  If I point this out to my still in family they snarl at me and become frighteningly aggressive...

  New approach to ministry

  there is a new approach to ministry where the direction is to just talk to people and listen to what they want to talk about.

  the new school for the midweek meeting is completely different and is all about the new approach .

  even before the no reporting changes field service dropped right off.

  for those still interested in lloyd's fall from grace, i made up a chart of my own.

  april 2023 is when he put out his "things are bad" tin cup begging video, and he got a small surge to 592 on the 13th of that month.

  i'm also using his all-time peak of 897 from november 2022.. for march, we're gonna say a modest -15, putting him at 352. i'm also curious as to when he might hit 300 and then 200. if he keeps up with an average of -20 every month, he'll be at less than 190 before the end of this year.. happy guessing everyone..

  Hi folks!
  It's been a while since I've given you an update on developments behind the scenes, so here goes!
  February has been a slow month for me because I've been battling a weirdly-lengthy cold-flu virus which has majorly impacted my productivity. I was really hoping to get a video out today (i.e. right at the end of the month) but unfortunately despite my best efforts it just hasn't worked out the way I wanted. I'm therefore going to try to hit the ground running in March and focus on clearing some more of the backlog of videos requested by my amazing patrons and YouTube channel members.
  Despite setbacks it has still been a relatively productive start to 2024. I have assembled a new JW Watch team of passionate and knowledgeable fellow ex-JWs who can collaborate and advise on future projects. I've also resumed work on the Second Edition of The Reluctant Apostate, which will be made available simultaneously in English and German! So far we on schedule to release both versions (and hopefully, an audiobook!) in early 2025.
  Since January 1 the channel has grown by around 800 subscribers, which is great news and definitely motivates me to continue!
  It's still challenging to settle into a rhythm after closing my production company in October. I obviously no longer have a video editor so a lot more time, effort and thought needs to go into each upload even though there are fewer of them. For now I am just doing my best to avoid burnout by churning out content according to my capacity in terms of time and mental health.
  In the coming weeks I will be revamping my Spring store as I think merch is a really cool way for people to support the channel while getting something back in return. I have also been giving some thought to the Patreon/YouTube channel member tiers and how they can be streamlined. If you are a patron/member and there are specific rewards that you would really like to see made available, or any areas in which I could improve as a content creator, please comment below as I am very interested in your feedback.
  For now I just want to sincerely thank all of you who take an interest in my channel, especially the 443 of you currently supporting it as patrons and channel members. It's very difficult to keep dipping into my religious experience - a source of profound personal trauma - to produce resources that will help people escape abusive cults. But knowing I have the support of so many of you is extremely heartening and makes my work significantly easier! Thank you!
