Why aren't there windows in the KH?
by longgone inthe last kh i attended, (faded) was built in 2014. there are no windows anywhere, although the front doors are glass.
.
it's nothing but a brown brick rectangle, as nondescript as possible as well.. any thoughts about why?.

What is the purpose of life?
by slimboyfat inwhile reading the magazines the other day it occurred to me that jws never really had a very good answer to that question.
because it was aimed at young people and it said something along the lines, "if you believe in god you have a purpose, but if you don't believe in god your life has no purpose or meaning".
i think that is a faulty analysis of the situation.

Purpose of life :
do anything we can do to forget we gonna die . soon or later .
Make love , go on the Everest , learn violon , take cocain ( only twice its better ) , play loto , do yoga , drink a lot ,"buy" a "house", make diets, have 7659 friends on facebook , fall in love , run a marathon , have kids , work, buy brand new tooth.....and pay your tombstone at last .
And then ...25 years later...your kids .....do the same .......
They call it "the life " .......
I would prefer to call it the "monkey's life "
Ps : thats only for lucky "monkeys" in rich contries .
Ps 2 : i understand why so many "monkeys" wait for " god" to change their life ...

Hidden message in JW bunker video?
by Dunedain inso, i was speaking with a relative recently, who is "in" the borg, but is completely aware of the terrible hypocrisy from the gb down.
he is not in the box, and its great to be able to have a realistic, and logical discussion about the current state of the org.. we started discussing, specifically, about that bunker video that was released in december.
how it is being played at all the conventions.

Any regrets whilst you were in the Org
by Tallon inthe biggest regret i have is of 'shunning' persons who were disfellowshipped and for 'marking' ones deemed as bad association.. there's no way i can approach these people to ask them for forgiveness as i've emigrated to another country however, by this post i'd like it to be known..

Regrets to didnt "wake up" before my 20 yo . ( 12 would have been better . could have done it )
Regrets that i went to the dirty swimming pool at around 15 or 16 een
Regrets to didnt have the strength to say to my parents " NO i dont go "door to door" this saturday . and NEVER again too "
Regrets to lost a childhood and even more a teenage time feeling guilty most of the time .( and maybe... still now ?? )
Regrets that i didnt hide a full time record device in the "elders meeting room" ..(there was "good catch" to do..)..( to toast their ass big time .... and after asking them with a shark smile, where do i send my record now ? police first or press first ? what do you prefer ? both maybe ?? )
Regrets that when i wrote my "good bye letter"to the "body of elders" i said " sorry to leave" in it ....( was still kind of afraid i guess ....) should have write "keep your crap rules forever, you stupid and blind windows washers ! " ( i have nothing against normal windows washers btw ; ) )
