so, this week on the clm there was an interesting comment at our kh.. under the "apply yourself to the field ministry" portion this week, there was the bible study assignment based on the publication: who are doing jehovah’s will today?

published in 2016. the material was from lesson 28 "what can be found on our website?

there is a footnote at the bottom that reads: .

Intelligent answer, and not Wt line. They would prefer to deny, and have the "publisher" loose credibility and avoid that door like the pest, never to be challenged, confronted again.

when i was a jw it was always emphasized that we should trust in jehovah completely.

jah will protect his people do not trust in man, throw your burdens upon jehovah etc.ok now if that's true wouldn't it mean that if jehovah was going to protect anywhere it should be his world head quarters right?.

we were told to not trust in ourselves (such as guns,walls for defense and protection) but to leave it in jehovah's hands and he would provide a means for escape etc.so as i'm watching some pro-wt vid's about the facilities in warwick i noticed something they didn't show on them or focus on and only reason i know about it was because of the w5 newscast as well as the vids the protesters shared.they conveniently leave out the parts of them putting walls/fences and gates as well as a "guard shack" at entrance instead of relying on jehovah to protect them.the guard house even has a "no trespassing" sign in the window.

This year’s convention

two things i noted at this year’s rc.

1) the new teaching with respect to matthew 25:45 which was applied equally to the rank & file jw.

this teaching is also found in the watchtower study for last sunday.. then he will answer them, saying: ‘truly i say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of these least ones, you did not do it to me.. 2) the new armageddon video which was a big shift.

Yeah, There was a watchtower illustration too, about the "valley of salvation" the jws being led into a narrow gully. Others are afraid of heights, wt has a phobia for everyone. It must have been agoraphobia at the last convention.

re:' the doing of good', if this is true, wt has declared all to be "brothers of Christ" what a demotion for "partakers".

Kudos for these hardworking latinos, excelling in 2 jobs. Was hosted by their countrymen during the 2017 eclipse, and they had the best tended gardens. pride in their share of US soil, but not soul.

If you do not assimilate, and as a result stand out, even are outstanding, it can backfire. Think of the jewish people in Germany, having more german names than the germans, outstanding in many fields. A truly sad story. Hopefully Israel is the safe way out. Putting distance between you and the others is a great idea. imho.

you know when you are in a deep sleep and something happens that may put you on a different level of sleeping, not as deep.

not that I started to wake up then, which was decades away, but the first jolt was in 1958, walking between Yankee Stadium and the Polo Grounds, 2 stadiums in NY city that wt had rented. A big, 250 000 attendance, 6000 baptized convention. They just had demonstrated the new arrangement of sisters covertly teaching in the congregation by staging "conversations" under the supervision of a male.

Not that the better part of the human race has nothing to teach, but just new to the game I wondered, where did this come from? , after 1 Cor. 14 and 2 Tim 2 still fresh in my mind. What else in the bible will be cast aside?

Book of Revelation

one of the things that really bothered me is how most of the book of revelation isn't understood by most jws.

most of the trumpets were already sounded many decades ago, is that still right?

The problem is that the new permutations and refutations of the old ones are all like critiques of any fictitious story. ultimately entertaining, but not leading to serious results ( You can't tell me that you seriously believe in the base, the talking snake, carrion on Abel's altar, zombies walking into Jerusalem etc?

How about Babylon the Great not being Christendom but a bigger middle east based outfit?
