  Modern Medical Science Heals Blindness Better than Jesus

  i posted some time back that i was having vision difficulties.

  at sydney eye hospital it was determined that i had no other serious eye problems except a growing cataract.. i was referred to another hospital for a removal of the natural lens in my left eye and its replacement by an artificial lens,.

  had that operation a week ago - no problems except my iris did not expand enough to permit the lens procedure, so they had to use hooks to expand it, turning a less than 30 minute operation into a 90 minute procedure.. all very professional and first class treatment.

  I'm glad the procedure was successful fulltimestudent. It's reassuring to know if I need to have that done in the future I may see improvement in sight I hadn't had for a long time. It puts a positive spin on it thanks.

  oh buy this is going to be long.i'll be lucky if most of you still remember me its been a really long time since i've posted.

  so im 15 now makes me happy because im getting so close to being able to work and being able to make my own money and save it.i've had talks with my family i havent said flat out that i dont care or like this but they have figured out that i dont agree with it,who knows whats that means for the future but i know its most likely going to be something bad.the way i've dealt with this hole shit hole is that i just dont let it get to me.i told myself im not going to let this hole thing ruin my childhood and my chance to make memories and to do things that normal kids can do,and the year i said that is the year ive made so many storys about dumb and fun things i did and that year made me feel like a normal kid and made me feel like nothing was wrong and maybe my life isn't that bad.i know its not smart i know i'll be in big trouble if my aunt or anybody that jw found out about what i was doing could go very wrong,but at this point i dont care even if thats dumb im just not going to let this ruin my time to have fun and be active before i become a adult,alot of stuff went on i mean i diged my own hole have my own girlfriend big red flag to them i have all worldly friends big red flag to them when most of its just me being normal but those two would put me into deep shit.. i know that the hole double life thing is bad to jw's but if any other teenager or kid is on this website i just want to say dont be scared to live a double life,dont be its brought more happiness than i've ever had in years its brought more motivation in my life than anything.its like having the life you should've had yes its hard to get through the loops of dealing with jw's but all the work is worth it.the so called double life is a normal life that you should live so dont feel bad and live the life you should be living.. but im happy to be posting again that first part is my update and the second one is for any kid that is looking around here,i hope you guys are doing good and i hope everybody is fine its good to be back!.

  I'm glad you're focussing on your education. This whole thing needs some attention to dig yourself out of the hole you're in, if you get my drift? Okay your spelling and grammar need work. I'm glad you're doing well.

  Diog I think she means cult raised kids don't go through existential crises, worrying what the point of life is and fearing death.

  Rather they don't even get that far. They don't fear death or worry what's the point of life because of the cult teachings, until they leave and reprogram their minds. Which is why it's so devastating for ex-jws.

  It's normal to have doubts about life and wonder what it's all about. It's not normal to have all the answers to the big questions at a young age ...... or ever!

  Some struggle with concepts of reality and existential angst is the normal human condition.

  So if they are going to be able to apply for regular pioneering and bethel service online soon does this mean the elders do not have to approve of the application? Perhaps they will email the elders. The GDPR applies to online information and they will be gathering a lot of information about individuals.

  dinner out..

  took myself out for dinner.. a family mum dad and two girls came in.

  mum had the 50 yard stare dad had no convo at all and the two girls went at it like demented type writers.

  why is it that girls of an age seem to need to say every word they think.

  We used to invite JW families round for dinner and they would often sit staring at us while we made conversation.

  No internet or smart phones back then but my husband and I would often say when they'd gone it was like they were watching TV.

  Not surprising is it Zeb with the level of reading matter available to them, or at least allowed.

  I hope this makes life better for the Dalits (untouchables). There are about 150 million of them in India. The problem is the Hindu caste system and the belief in Karma is ingrained in Indian culture. They still do all the low paid menial work.

  I was told by one Indian guide that they don't blame disabled people for having a disability they just accept it as part of them working out their Karma (from bad things they'd done in past lives). He thought we would see this as forward thinking!

  we are the true religion which god approves………..” says the jw.. to put jws in the context of the question of true religion, we first have to get an insight into how a jw thinks and these points above are the selected criteria chosen by jws to judge themselves.

  Surely the true religion would have all the answers. How the universe began. Is there life on other planets. A cure for cancer. The chemical formula to correct the faulty neurotransmitters of people with depression or bipolar disorder.

  Instead they have endless convoluted reasons why God or gods can't provide anything useful at all. Jesus loves me doesn't cut it.

  Blondie, so much for the mark of true Christians being love among themselves eh?

  At the end just before we left an elder came to our house to basically yell at us because we had just started leaving during the final song to get away from the hurtful people. With having depression I felt like I didn't have any skin on my body and the verbal attacks hurt so much.

  I said to the elder I had given up hoping the people I'd shown love to for years would show love to me and now I just wanted them to leave me alone. They even picked on me with their snide remarks if I just sat quietly and waited for my husband while he did his eldering. So glad I don't have to do that any more!
