Tried Wednesday evening. Pxxxed-off a lot of people. Interrupting dinner or sitcoms. It fizzled pretty quickly.

Hour requirements
by dothemath ini recall having to go in the ministry, not just saturday but strongly encouraged to go out sunday after the meeting.
then they had the lame idea to organize evening witnessing, or maybe before the midweek book study.
it could be minus 40 and there would still be a group organized.

My goodness, no the SARS-CoV-2 virus was not an influenza virus of any kind. This has been public knowledge for years. Like the first SARS virus of 2002-4, it is caused by a virus from the large corona virus family, that also happens to include the far less dangerous common cold virus. Corona viruses are NOT all the same.
Influenza viruses similarly each have their own risks. Some are mild, others are more dangerous. Famously variants of the H1N1 responsible for the Spanish influenza and Swine Flu.
The flu and cold seasons were greatly diminished the last few years BECAUSE masks and social distancing work! As a matter of simple math, the measures work even more effectively against viruses with lower R-Naught (R0) values (IOW less contagious than SARS-CoV-2) like various influenza, parainfluenza, seasonal coronal virus (cold) rhino-enterovirus (RSV), metapneumovirus (hMPV) and others that cause flu-like symptoms.
If you did not know this, you really must reconsider your sources of news and health information or discuss it with your doctor.

JWs at Culture Fest
by peacefulpete inthe state university where we live has cultural festivals educating the public about art, food and music of the minorities in the community.
it is also an opportunity for some to generate a little income selling their wares and food.
the jws have successfully put up a booth right in the campus building and used it to actively proselytize and distribute literature.

Christianity's teaching/s 'untenable' and out of step with society....
by BoogerMan in....according to lesbian comedienne.
"the archbishop of canterbury has conceded progress on same-sex marriage in the church of england would be "glacial", sandi toksvig has said.
the comedian revealed she had met justin welby for a "long-promised coffee" and the meeting had been "calm and considered", but the church's position was "untenable".

There are many PIMOs in other religions as well. These folks fit that definition to me. They want the community and possibly believe some of the doctrine but biologically disagree on this particular matter. I feel for them like I do with PIMO JWs who don't belong but can't seem to leave. -

It is also an opportunity for some to generate a little income selling their wares and food. The JWs have successfully put up a booth right in the campus building and used it to actively proselytize and distribute literature. It is my objective opinion this is inappropriate. I fear the university is gun shy about limiting access to the campus given the political environment. I've given it some thought but felt this community might have a good approach to make with the oversight board. Then again maybe you feel it is appropriate, go ahead and explain.
They are targeting the Hmong community specifically but not exclusively. One of the JWs was wearing a Hmong costume. They had a spin wheel for candy and prizes. All very carnival-like.

The last time I engaged with jws I mentioned the concern I had with 'solutions' that require the death of billions of people. And compared it to the isis theology. They used the old god is doing the killing response. I asked if there really was a philosophical difference. They switched to talking about how jws we're different from isis because they we're allowed to have fun. Both ladies then reassured me they were going out to cocktails after preaching. My wife who was giving me a cold stare, called to me at that point.

Clearly you have not read the link I supplied nor carefully read my comments. I read the link you provided; it contains nothing that wasn't addressed in the information I shared. The sum of the argument is that critical scholars are wrong to analyze the textual history and content of the creedal passages and should rather just accept they somehow prove the unity of thought of the earliest Christians. In the case we have looked at, in 1 Cor 15, the creed content and composition are simultaneously what leads many to conclude that the insertion is at least partly early, perhaps even prePauline, but also represents a tradition not consistent with the Gospel tradition nor even Paul. IOW, What the creedal material reveals is not unity of thought but the opposite.
Further, Price's position that the creedal material is best seen as an interpolation from a generation later may be a minority view at this point, but it is not easily dismissed.
