i found it important to be honest with my wife.

so i told her about my conscience decision that in a medical urgency i want blodless medicine but if a transfusion of blood or the 4 prohibited components is necessary to save my life or health i would accept it.

this would apply especially also for our child (that is not such a problem as in our country the wts recommends to comply with doctors as they have the right to decide concerning minors).. i showed her the reasons why i came to that conscience decision (biblical and logical reasons) and that jehovah and jesus do not like anyone to die because of this wrong bible application.. .

you haven't accepted blood yet, so you have DONE anything wrong... technically. However, you have "promoted" your opion to your wife, and additionally you have rejected the direction (or at least questioned) of the F&DS.

I believe they will take this in 2 forms. 1 - keep your opinions to yourself and wait on Jehovah, and 2 - do you beleive the F&DS is the sole channel being used by Jehovah.

if you say you accept the F&DS, they will use this to attack your reason for questioning the blood issue in the first place. They will drag this out for a bit and then, since you "accepted" the F&DS as the channel, they will shift back to point 1, that is, keeping your mouth shut about your issues and waiting on Jah.

yes its BS, but many have done this BS dance to keep from being DF'd by plumbers and janitors.

a little background, i faded in 2007 and have been out ever since.

i started studying at 18 and have no jw realitives.

i'm returing because my life is heading in the wrong direction.

isnt' t that a bit like going back to smoking crack because the withdrawal symptoms suck?

trust me, I "get" what you mean about assoication and freinds, and even if you do go back to the Borg, knowing that you don't beleive it, you need to sort out what it is you want with your life FIRST.

If you are going back to Watchtower because it's better than what you've got right now, then I would suggest you have no idea what you want in life to begin with.

Take a year, travel the world, vists buddhist temples and monestaries, see the pyramids of egypt, touch the west wall, read some books about life... maybe eckart Tolle or the like. I know this is easier said than done, but if the other option is wasting your life on pretend happiness than I would find anyway possible to make this happen

JWS moving into the 2010s: GREATER FOCUS ON "PUBLIC' VENUE PREACHING

increasingly, jw.org and its print publications show lots of pictures of witnesses preaching one-to-one to "interested" passersby in public venues in contrast with fewer pictures depicting the door-to-door work.

sure, d-t-d is still the organizatrion's mainstay activity - but clearly it pushes at every opportunity the need for the rank and file to "go" public.. this push could be a two-edge sword: there is obviously a hard core of witnesses whose dispositions draw them to this type of social outreach: they almost rush out to do this public-venue work, prefering it to d-t-d. but i'd hazard a guess that for the bulk of those in local congregations, the public-venue witnessing would be a total turn off.. to date, in new zealand, i have seen no evidence of jws doing this public venue witnessing - despite the huge push on jw.org and in the publications.

kiwis just don't seem inclined to put themselves out in public places - or if they do, it is in a kind of very muted way (i.e., almost out of sight and unobtrusive).. this site has shown that in a few places, including mexico, at least a few of the more publicly zealous witnesses are doing the public work big time.. is the public venue preaching happening elsewhere, such as asia?

Even at my peak of zealousness, I was embarassed of my religion. If presented with the opportunity to "man" a cart, I would rather get a root canal than participate in these public carts

for instance what has the wt taught about evolution/science or mans existence that is wrong and could possibly change skmeones mind?

and the more important question, why is it a creator couldnt allow for species to evolve?

everything came from nothing. Exactly what's theists believe about gods coming to be, except god came from nothing but never had a beginning. if everything comes from nothing then there must at least be a begining. Therefore I vote atheist

anyway if you look at rev 5:10 these look to be the same as the great-crowd, being from the nations etc.

and are dead.

I have discussed the Great Crowd dilemma with a few others also...

revelation identifies these ones as dressed in white robes, identified as coming out of the great trib, the July 15 WT article says:

two decades after Christ’s enthronement in 1914, “a great crowd” of “other sheep” was identified

If the GC were identified in 1934 & these are coming out of the great tribulation while the great trib is yet future, does that now connect the great trib to the life time (generation) of 1934?

If the ones coming out were, according to the July 15 WT, identified "two decades" after 1914,must this now necessitate that at least some survivors of the great trib would have to have been born by 1934 at the latest?

If so, this would require the Great Trib to happen within the next 10-20 years max. To stretch this out further....Could those in white robes be of an overlapping contemporaneous generation of 1934? its all too crazy for even me to keep straight. To think the WTS applaudes jesus' use of simple illustrations to teach, yet as a JW not even the most educated, line-toeing brainiac can keep this shit straight.

At my memorial that outright lied saying that Judas was not at the meal (luke says otherwise) and hes the only one that wrote in detail about it.

this is debated among many christian faiths, not just JW's. If you want to pick reason to single out JW's this won't cut it
