Is there any truth to the rumors that Cedars was at one time involved in cyber sex with underage girls?

This book thing is very valid criticism and I disagree with what he is doing, especially with the $150 thing.

However, the above is a scurrilous accusation from his rabid detractors who often state hearsay without real evidence. Like Tony Tightpants, it makes me wonder if the accusers protest too much.

The scary thing is any third hand anonymous person can make an accusation without evidence. Today unfounded accusations may be about Cedars, tomorrow it may be me or you.

In the rungs, I would take out "Meeting Attender" or else rename it Progressive Bible study.

And before elder there should be a ministerial servant rung. And before Governing Body, there should be a Helper rung. And before them, there should be a Branch rung.

Realignment is more like being reproved or even disfellowshipped.

2018 RC ... and 2017 AGM

on another post of mine someone replied with a twitter link showing these stills from the next movie to be shown at 2018's rc, about jonah.

not only is it very early for any leaks to be coming from the convention, but the images appear to be taken off of another screen, which leads me to believe someone behind the scenes leaked this against explicit directions.. also .

where's the agm video leak by now?

Last year, there seems to be a slight decline or stagnation if I remember correctly.

Of course, this year, I suspect that the Russia ban and other world events might reverse that somewhat.

Due to the increase we have witnessed over the past few years, a number of circuits have grown.

It is a fascinately constructed sense that could be interpreted in many ways.

First--what has increased? Is it the people? Or the work (translating, construction,ect...)?

Second, where is the increased? It didn't specify the UK.

A number of circuits have grown...how many? What defines 'a number'?

Also, many of our foreign-language congregations are now part of European-wide circuits enjoying circuit visits in their own language. To ensure that circuits in Britain and Ireland are a similar size...

So finally, the circuits in the UK are mentioned. And the reason given is not increase, but to create similar size circuits to that of foreign-language circuits. Of course, although this is one reason that may be valid, there are other reasons this change is really being made.

It is a masterclass of obfuscation.

I think Pence is a young earth creationist as well and thus anti-science.

Do you or did you experience too much intrusion into your personal life by the elders in your congregation?

i ask this question because i have personally experienced first hand the control and intrusion into my personal life by the elders at our hall; and for virtually trivial things or non issues!

what's more, i regularly hear of individuals moving to other halls because they were stumbled by the thought police....er, i mean these elders.. have you had any such experience?

have your elders been a bit ott over trivialities?.

Most definitely.

I've had elders pull friends in the backroom and questioned about what they know. And then the elders told the friend to NOT tell me they were questioned.
