Another bad faith video
by DATA-DOG injust sharing this for all the people who hated me saying it.
funny how truth finally comes out if those of us who care enough to become lightning rods don’t let up.
it’s taken a year, but the left wing ( not the same as a traditional liberal ) nut-job bs is becoming quite evident, and this will continue across multiple subjects as time passes.

What Do Today’s Jehovah’s Witnesses Really Think?
by minimus inwhen i was a witness i knew what my beliefs were and could defend my views, even if it really was wrong.
i understood jw doctrines .
i could define what the faithful and discreet slave was.

Growing up as a Witness in the 80s and 90s, we were expected to diligently study on our own and use the Theocratic Ministry School to be prepared to actively teach or defend Watchtower doctrine with scripture. Now the Watchtower does not want its member to do that. JWs are to be low-information laity instead of ministers of God's word.
"Go to JW.org for the answer," is a cop-out. Such a scenario would make it easy to expose the Watchtower.
Me: What do you believe as a JW?
JW: Go to JW.org to find out.
Me: I don't have access to the internet like much of the earth's population. Why would a life-saving work use such a strategy? Further, I asked what do YOU believe. Even if you believe what this website publishes, why can't you just give me the Reader's Digest version? It can only be because you yourself have not gone to this website. Otherwise you would just tell me. That does tell me that you are selling a product that you don't use. If you truly believe in something you can at least explain what you believe in. It is impossible believe in something that you are unfamiliar with.
I am being asked by you to believe in something that you don't even understand or believe in.

I truly appreciate Bill bringing out the truth of the COVID-19 cause of death - obesity. COVID-19 is similar to HIV in that both are viruses and no one dies from either, they die from complications of combining the virus with some other health related issue. COVID-19 comes around and government wants to punish people for not wearing a mask. Government does not punish people for not wearing a condom.
Let's be clear - The 24 hour news networks lie to us. It doesn't matter if it is Fox, CNN, or MSNBC. We are being lied to. I refuse to watch 24 hour news networks. If I want to watch the news it is only local channels.

Daily text 15.4.21 Unbelievable hypocrisy. Don't be the master of another's faith
by Diogenesister inyoutuber "king of fader's" caught this unbelievable piece of cant from watchtower in thursday's life and ministry 'daily text'.. (based on 2 corinthians 1:24 " not that we lord it over your faith").
"jehovah has not given us authority to make personal decisions for others.
someone who makes needless rules is not protecting his brothers safety - he is trying to become the master of his brothers faith.

Waton:
Good point on the Apostle Paul. Even if there was a 1st century FDS in Jerusalem, Paul made decisions on where to take his ministry without getting permission from the 12 Apostles in Jerusalem.

What police have to deal with
by LoveUniHateExams inso, the actions of cops have come under scrutiny in recent days, what with the trial of derek chauvin and the death of daunte wright.
i certainly hope justice is served in both those cases.. what is easy for people to forget, is just what police officers have to deal with on a regular basis, during their interactions with citizens.. here's a video breaking down one such interaction.. a car owner was driving his car but the tags weren't legally displayed.
cops wanted him to pull over but the driver continued driving for a mile and a half with a police car following with sirens and lights.

TD:
I read the article you posted. Thanks for posting it. It is well worth the read and I agree with the author.
I am not at war with my neighbors. Every person I have arrested is a fellow American and a fellow member of my community (I live in the community I police). I have regularly run into people I have arrested at the grocery store and at restaurants. I have used force to make arrests, but when it was all said and done I treat suspects with dignity. Not because they deserve it or earned it, but because that is what I stand for. I even bought a guy lunch on the way to jail because he hadn't eaten all day and he was cooperative with me.
I was taught in the academy that you can't control others if you can't control yourself. I was also taught that if you use force it better be to make a justifiable arrest. I was also taught that when their are multiple officers on scene 1 officer gives verbal commands so as not to confuse suspects.
Those 2 officers lost control of themselves, confused the driver, and then used force, but failed to arrest the driver. The driver did wrong, but the response was uncalled for.

Being a police officer in the U.S. is a hard job and it is only getting harder. People elect legislators to pass laws. Once laws as passed it is up to law enforcement to enforce the law so violators are held accountable. In short, politicians make laws and expect people with guns to enforce them. Every criminal law has a bullet attached to it.
No one wants to discuss how to fix the root cause of crime. Talking heads just want to "reform policing". That's like putting a band aid on a cancerous tumor and expecting it go away.

The Difference Between Doctors & Nurses and Police?
by Simon inwhat is the difference between doctors & nurses, and police?.
studies have estimated that medical errors cause 250,000 deaths per year in the us.. police only kill around a thousand people each year in total, with only a small number being unjustified or accidental.. so the difference?.
police are expected to be perfect and for all the hype, you're are far greater risk of being killed by someone in the health industry than by a cop.

No one argues with doctors and nurses.
I have over 20 years in as a police officer. I have about had it. The sheer insanity the talking heads spew makes my head explode.

Losing My Religion - America's progressive estrangement from organized religion
by EdenOne inthis article on the latest gallup survey:.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/america-losing-religion-effects-long-093028404.html.
in 1937, 73% of americans would be affiliated with some organized religion; that number remained steady until 1999: (70%); the 21st century brought about a major shift: 50% in 2018; 47% in the latest survey.. children who grew up in households without organized religion are less likely to affiliate to some form of organized religion.. it's not only a generational difference; the growth in those who express no religious preference is also on the rise in generation x (those born between mid 1960's and early 1980's).

Humans are wired for religion. Rationalism has caused a declined in Judeo-Christian religions in the west. Government has replaced the invisible sky father for many as their "savior".
