i feed the squirrels that hang out near my home.
there are (4) that take advantage of free peanuts.
one out of the four comes up to greet me as i park my car in the driveway.
Bri, I love squirrels, too, but Dutchie is right-consult Dr. ASAP, perhaps even a Health Dept. offical! I don't know if you remember or not, but I was exposed when I worked at the Cat Clinic and had to have the treatments. They aren't as bad as they used to be and they are the only thing that can save your life if indeed you were exposed to Rabies. SO, don't hesitate! OK??!!

most of you know about my mother, she passed away from this world 17 yrs ago tomorrow, sept. 15, 1985. her passing was very hard on my sister and me , because it was a suicide.
she had been a witness for 16 years and even almost died standing up for the blood issue in 1983, due to a stomach ulcer, and too many asprins.
her blood count went down to 2 and she had to be put in a lear jet to get to houston, tx.

ok everyone....i have noticed that there are a few other religions out there similar to the jw's.....for example...i have a friend who has a sister that who belongs to a non-denominational christian church.....she feels that her church is the "only way" to god...and also too it seems as though she looks down on anyone who does not go to her church....they have weekly bible studies on monday or tuesday nights...they even have a "field service" in which they go out to neighbors trying to get them to come to that particular church....does anyone else out there know about the other ones similar to the jw?

I know a Deacon in our church who has a sister who is involved with a "christian" group that sounds almost extremist in nature. They live sheltered up in the mountains of some state down south. Can't think of their name, but they definetly think they are the only true religion and look down on anyone else who isn't with them. It is scary, they live ready to fight (with guns and all!) when "Armageddon" happens! In 1999, they sold all their possessions and horded food expecting the end the minute the clock struck midnight.

could you say that because you were a witness at least......or was it all negative?
I would have to say that I think I learned to be more tolerant of those around me who may not ascribe to my own viewpoint on things and NOT be so judgemental.

the clouds flashed silver in the failing light and seemed to slash through the hazy orange sky leaving in their wake what seemed to be streaming red.
at first it was a quick burst of red light that broke into view, but slowly the red trickled and then merely oozed on to the rest of the sky.
staining as it went, the red would make nothing of that sunset the same.
