Spell check works for me on IE. Thanks for all your efforts.
i've made some updates to the user section of the site.
besides some cosmetic tweaks the most notable new feature is the ability to see a listing of the topics someone has posted on - this includes topics they started as well as topics they replied to.. it will look like this when you go to a user page or your own profile page:.

do you get confused sometimes whether this site is a discussion forum or a debating forum ?.
just asking.
whats your thoughts.. smiddy.
I try to avoid debates. I appreciate your opinion but have no interest or desire to change your mind.
Perhaps that makes me uncaring, but the reality is that I got my own stinkin problems and don't care enough to get involved with yours.
So, I vote for discussion, no debate.
it was explained that the faithful slave is the governing body, while the domestics are all those who are fed spiritually, whether of the anointed or of the other sheep..
the july 15, 2013 study edition of the watchtower stated on page 22, paragraph 10: in keeping with jesus pattern of feeding many through the hands of a few, that slave is made up of a small group of anointed brothers who are directly involved in preparing and dispensing spiritual food during christs presence.
throughout the last days, the anointed brothers who make up the faithful and discreet slave have served together at headquarters.
Thank you for the clarification. Evidently the GB "poop don't stink."
This is all evidence that we are so very near the conclusion of this wicked old system of things.
did anyone go to meeting sunday?
i'm curious about how the 'we must be holy' watchtower went and what the comments were like, especially in regards to disfellowshipped family members.
Your crucial error is to assume that there is any critical thinking going on at the Watchtower study. There is none, so if you are looking for a reaction you will be disappointed.
The only reaction will be... "what a wonderful study." Don't ask any follow up questions, because they won't even remember what the study was about. Perhaps they will remember that little Suzie made her first comment. Other than that - nothing.
sorry, i messed up before i could put the right title on this new light from our circuit overseer, his visit show's a great desperation in the organization's mindset, adding more anxiety and guilt to jws who already feel they don't measure up!.
hi, i attended the circuit overseers visit and got really angry because our c.o.
gave information coming from the governing body's chief apologists regarding "meeting attendance" and "the couple who missed one meeting and lost their entire family because they did not get the "411" when armageddon was coming!
after a one year gestation period, as well as an extended labor, i am finally happy to announce the birth of my latest book: escape from paradise.. cigars all around!
like any new parent, i need to get some much needed sleep now.
zzzzzzzz.
i was reading on a european ex jw forum where some feel that watchtower's railing against higher education is primarily for north america issue.
this is due that many in usa and canada leave home to leave on campus.
it was mentioned that many young european jw attend universities and its not frowned on.. i found this odd because i heard what morris and losch said about education in italy.
The JW.Org organization is an American organization. This is clear based upon what is written. I have a tangential example that gets us to the same conclusion.
As we know the jw.org does not like "R" rated movies. But guess what - the whole concept of movie ratings is an American concept. I was in Honduras once and an elder arranged an event to take the witness children to a movie. Guess what the movie they went to was - an "R" rate movie (Yikes!), but the concept of ratings meant nothing to our foreign brethren.
So, the scriptures were clearly written for 21 century Americans.
the title says it all.
list a scripture that is way over used.. it could be a scripture that the point is completely missed by how they use it.
it could also be one that they use so much it's as if the rest of the bible didn't exits.. my two favorite are proverbs 4:18 and ezekiel chapter 1 +a few verses.

Can anyone a good reason why they are building all these new kingdom halls when most congregations are shrinking?
Perhaps: The old ones are falling apart because of bad construction -Or - They are managing this as a real estate development project with the intent of flipping properties for a profit (with none of the profit trickling down to the local congregations).
Hmmm. it seems I answered my own question.
