it appears that the governing body members today are part of the great crowd and are not of the anointed.. to those with some knowledge of the subject, is it possible that the christian congregation would eventually be lead by those who are not anointed?

There will always be highly motivated assholes who decided to "partake." This is clearly a strategy that will propel their career in Watchtower-land. That being said, The Wt has painted themselves into a corner with the overlapping generation. They need brothers who started partaking before Franz died.
Of course, is all they need to do is "clarify our understanding."

as far as i know, i did a search, and you may not know this but, the last song play during a music video of the regional convention, was not of watchtower.

the song is called eternal flame and it is exactly and i mean, note for note the same as the music video.
There is no question that this is the same song. The best guess is the Wt paid a royalty to a worldly band. It probably was not a major expense.

I am turning 60 in May, which means that I graduated high school in 1975. I do not keep track with my "generation" but my guess is that most are either dead or have abandoned the faith they were taught.

i was told by my husband that i had to go with him and the rest of his family to the special talk that was happening this weekend.
The general themes are: (a) the end is near, (b) do more in the field, and (c) aren't the provisions of the FDS wonderful.
