I thought the bible says you cannot pass a microphone without a penis. This congregation must be really desperate to use non-penised members to do the work of the penised members.
I digress, sorry. I once remember setting in a mind-numbing elder's meeting and kept thinking that the only qualification these idiots met is that they had a penis - although in some cases I doubted this qualification.

The light certainly is getting brighter as we move closer to the end of this wicked things. The clear implication of this chart is that we should never give up on the nearness of the end.

i have seen posts on several you tube sites stating that jackson said during his rc testimony that jw's don't shun, celebrating christmas is not a disfellowshipping offence, birthdays are ok and ones doesn't have to agree with jw doctrine.
i have read most of the posts on other threads while and after his testimony but never read any of this?
did he really say these things or is someone on the net just stirring up some bs?.
He said what was stated in the transcript. In the interaction with the questions related to difellowshipping and disassociation Jackson was evasive and was not willing to give a straight answer. It was clear that he was attempting diminish the harsh treatment surrounding disfellowshipping.
It was a perfect example of spiritual warfare.

first let me tell you about george (his real name) the special pioneer.
not that good looking...a bit goofy, he had spiritual sisters literally ask him to date and flutter eyelids because of his positon.
he always made excuses about why sisters were "not his type"...had a bedroom full of pics of him hugging other brothers with a content strange look on his face....like this is my girlfriend look!
He was just counting time. After the coffee break at 10 am they probably did a few not-at-homes and then decided that visiting you was the easiest way to extend their service time. A total wasted morning.
today i attended a one-day assembly in my hometown.
i knew when it came time to read the afternoon expenses that it would be an incredibly high and ridiculous amount that was nowhere near the real expenses for that day.
